While starfleet’s main attention had been the Borg for so long, other lesser threats have become more pressing. Pirate gangs and old enemies have resurfaced forming new alliances against the federation. Rogue factions plague starfleet’s allied planets like cancer. Assassination attempt on public officials have flared up. Quarrels over territory remains a constant thorn in starfleet’s side. On top of that enemy spies have infiltrated military and officer positions. Posing as starfleet crew and sabotaging missions/control systems of ships and sbs alike.
A new fleet has been formed to combat the pressing issues. It's internal core on the more distant borders of the Alpha Quadrant. located on Secundus Terra Colony(Second Earth/ exact translation Following Earth). While the External core forms an inter galactic fleet. The first of its kind to group task forces together in a combined effort working towards a common goal. Mission assignments have expanded throughout the known and unknown territories in search of allies, technology, and a united front against all enemies of Starfleet. A new beginning may have come ,but at what price would it stay?.......
