Commanding Officer/ MD
USS Medstar NCC-91107

Grew up on a poor colony, was inspired by a childhood experience to become a doctor. During the dominion war Larkson served on the USS Torugawa.

After the war, Larkson was reassigned to the newly commissioned USS Defender as CMO. 

He served in this capacity for 7 years until being assigned to one of Starfleet Medical's frontier posts.  After 2 years Larkson was promoted to captain of the USS Medstar.  A close personal tragedy in his past still haunts him to this day. 

Executive officer / Paramedic

Former Starfleet Ensign turned Maquis under command of Chakotay.  Crewman on USS Voyager during delta quadrant exile.  Night shift Paramedic, received extensive training by EMH.  Upon return to Alpha quadrant, given field commision of LT.  Remained on Voyager for 10 months after return.  Reassigned to Starfleet Medical at request of Admiral Janeway, and taught tactical emergency medicine.  

Later promoted to LT-Cmdr and sent on field duty on training vessels for SFA Red Squad medical division.  3 years of field duty as senior officer of Red Squad medical division, now being promoted to CMDR and reasigned as XO USS Medstar.

Chief Engineer / Paramedic

First assignment USS Defender served 6 years. Upon being promoted to LT, reassigned to Starfleet Corps of Engineers to work on the USS Enigma pathfinder project.  Served as deputy chief engineer during its shakedown cruise.  Returned to Trill to be joined with the Jenta symbiont, and remained on Trill for a few months. 

Returned to fleetyard to work out kinks in the vessel class' design.  Reassigned to USS Medstar per Admiral Daetweiler, due to Medstar's 'technical difficulties'.  Promoted to LT-Cmdr upon accepting transfer. 
Previous host Trianna, served as combat medic during Dominion war, Dorran awarded Paramedic certification after completing competency exams, completing his requirements to serve as a senior officer on a medical starship.

Conn officer
USS Medstar NCC-91107

Ensign Chaiden is the first Aenar in Starfleet.  Upon graduation from Starfleet Academy, was assigned to USS Medstar.  Prior to this posting the largest vessel he had flown was the Defiant-class USS Hatcher while at the academy.

Chaiden underwent a transplant to receive Andorian eyes prior to attending classes at Starfleet Academy.  Despite this, he is more comfortable using his other senses, and has been known to go around with his eyes closed.  This is especially disturbing to his shipmates when he is piloting a shuttlecraft.

Dr. Redko is not a commissioned Starfleet officer.  Having been trained at the Denobulan Medical Institute, Dr. Redko enlisted into Starfleet to put her training to the best use.  The U.S.S. Medstar is her first Starship post
