I am very interested in cross-cultural communication to foster a better understanding between all the inhabitants of this planet. I am a polyglot and speak six languages fluently and can communicate in two more.
I am fond of travelling and have visited UK, The Gambia, The Netherlands, Brazil, China, Singapore, Dubai, Russia, Armenia, Bangladesh, Qatar, Nepal, Afghanistan, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Sweden and Jordan.
My professional interests include theory and practice of sustainable development, institutional transformation, leadership and management. I am particularly interested in the political eceonomy of production, processing and dissemination of information.
Lately, I have developed a renewed interest in studying the economic aspects of natural resource management with a particular reference to the ancient, yet still prevalent practice of Spate Irrigation in the arid areas of the world.
My personal interests include study of culture, literature, poetry and art.
