My name is Rex Loden. I live in Cayuga, Indiana. I served for three years in the United States Marine Corps and served in VietNam for two tours. My son is currently in the Marine Corps and he is stationed at Cherry Point, North Carolina. I have a nephew who is currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan and is serving in the Marine Corps. I have a son-in-law that is currently stationed in Iraq while he is serving with the SeaBees in the United States Navy. My son will be deploying to Iraq in July, and my son-in-law will be returning home in August.
Yes, I am proud to be an American. Proud to be a Marine. Proud that my son and nephew are Marines. Proud that my Son-in law is in the Navy, (he always says that the Marines are just a department of the Navy, and my son tells him that he is correct, and that it is the Men’s Department).
