When the Founding Fathers of the United States of America convened and wrote the American Constitution, they found certain rights to be "self evident". Among these right was the right for every "law abiding American", to bear arms.

For the majority of Americans, to say otherwise amounts to an act of treason! In other words, the Founding Fathers did not then intend to specify types of or individual weaponry. It is therefore, logical to assume that they intended for this specific amendment to evolve as weaponry evolved in accordance with the protectorate needs of the citizenry. To think otherwise would seem to be a blatant and intentional misinterpretation of the amendment all together.

We have set up a chat room so our members can speak to each other and debate this matter not only throughout the US, but throughout the world. We want you to contact us with your own stories or your own campaigns, let us know about your successes, (and yes, even your failures).

The AGA has been a small colabaration of businessmen who formed an alliance in 2002 to ensure that our gun rights were no longer chipped away at. We have taken our activities to Washington and made our contacts in the world of the lobbyists. 4 years on and the fight is more intense than ever. This website is a relatively new venture for us to help make the AGA a household name and a dominant force in the debate on gun law in the USA.

We seek to take a reasoned position in the debate and be the true voice of reason, we are happy to let many other groups, both for and against take their extreme polarized positions. We feel that we can achieve what our constitution set out by being the voice of reason and authority both in the media and with our politicians. 

It is true that the NRA has been in existence since 1871 and this means that we have some way to go to catch up with them, but we hope to build our resources to a level whereby we are on a par with the NRA. We intend to be a dominant force for the gun lobby in the USA, using all the resources we have to continue for fight for our rights as gun owners.

We regard the US Constitution as sacred, and we hope you do also. One just has to think that if our representatives can erode one provision in the Constitution, what is to stop them simply throwing the whole Constitution in the garbage can and thinking that they can design something much better for the 21st Century. Well we say they cannot; what was written over 250 years ago has served our great country well and we all believe that the Constitution will continue to serve us into the future. We have a right to bear arms and we will strive to secure that right in the best manner possible for our members and all American Gun owners.

We have designed our website to be user friendly and relative to our cause. We want to generate healthy debate and invoke our right to free speech. We want people to enter the debate and find everything they need one one website.
