Reasons why The Tribulation
may
be very near
The prophesied 10 toes are almost complete.
The prophesied to rise, 10 toes of the final resurrected unHoly Roman Beast Power, are now only one phalange short of the full set. There are 28 phalanges in 10 human toes. Currently there are 27 parts of the European Union. This suggests one more will come soon.
On 21 December 2007, Deutsche Welle announced that Europe officially threw off the Iron Curtain when 9 more ex -Communist dominated nations became part of the now 400,000,000 population Schengen federation of European nations (which don�t require visas for travel within their group).
Sir Winston Churchill coined the phrase �Iron Curtain�. Note how it parallels with the endtime release of the iron band of Daniel 4:15,23.
The leading historian employed by God�s endtime Apostle--Herbert W. Armstrong--Dr Herman L. Hoeh, predicted in advance that this iron band would begin to be released in 1982�meaning 2520 years after Nebuchadnezzar�s day�when the iron band was first placed around the Gentile Tree.
In hindsight, this most likely started when Helmut Kohl became Chancellor of Germany on 21 October 1982. In that position he became the chief architect of German Re-unification and European Unification, and thus the main person to start removing the iron band from the Gentile Tree.
Now that the iron band has now been removed, what can stop the Beast Power from standing on its 10 toes soon?
The Pope in office is a German (the same people who gave us World War I and WWII, and whose ancestors enslaved the Israelite forefathers of Britain and America--as is prophesied to occur again). He comes from the same office that caused Rome�s middle-ages Tribulation on Christians--the Great Inquisition. He already strives to unite Europe and �Christians� worldwide. If empowered as the endtime pseudo Prophet capable of supernatural deceptions and power (Revelation 13), his track record indicates he would carry out his role systematically and with a sense of history; while looking like an angel of light.
Gentiles are exerting themselves in general.
Islam�s expansion in Europe (and elsewhere) has already set the stage for the prophesied to come, endtime King of the South�s push against the King of the North (Daniel 11:40).
Russian and Chinese expansion in many directions is creating the powerful Eastern force that will enable the prophesied to come 200,000,000 man army, that will topple the Beast Power eventually. Possibly in conjunction then with India and/or Pakistan.
Al Quaeda and Venezuela�s disdain for America are typical of many negative Gentile attitudes toward Israelite nations, such as those displayed at the United Nations.
The Xhosa-Zulu takeover of South Africa, over a decade ago already, toppled the last nation in Africa that God had given the Tribes of Israel to govern. Another indication that the Tribes of Israel�s loss of sovereignty over their own nations, can�t lie far ahead.
A Man of Sin has already sat in the spiritual Temple of God.
He showed himself (not the whole world, as will the Antichrist whom Christ will destroy at his Second Coming), that he is �god� in the sense that he presumptuously thought he could change the law of the One Lawgiver.
The Great Falling Away is about complete.
This Man of Sin caused the greatest falling away from original doctrine in history, in any church calling itself Christian--in the true Church of God-- after the 1986 death of its human founder/leader Herbert W Armstrong.
So stated Protestant historian Dr Ruth Tucker, who was engaged by Mr Armstrong�s successor�s administration. That declaration unintentionally, and ironically, confirms that only this can be the prophesied greatest ever endtime apostasy, which precedes Christ�s Second Coming. See 2 Thessalonians 2. No greater has ever occurred, or can, now that the Philadelphia Era is over.
Elijah has come.
The Great Falling Away from Truth could not have occurred unless there had first been the even greater Restoration of All Things by the prophet Elijah, from which massive amounts of Truth could fall.
Elijah�s status pegs where we are in endtime prophecy. His restoration, by definition, could only have been in the best endtime Era, the Philadelphia Era.
Being a Messenger sent from God, by definition he is an Apostle, as well as the prophet, whom Malachi 4 describes him as. Therefore, Elijah must also be the messenger sent to the Philadelphia Era. Namely, Herbert W Armstrong.
Therefore, Mr Armstrong must be a prophet. Not, as he stated, of one bringing new Scripture�but of one revealing the meaning of the prophets and Apostles who preceded him.
When Mr Armstrong once publicly answered the question �Are you Elijah?��by saying he wasn�t�the context shows that like John the Baptist answered, he meant he wasn�t the original Elijah. The evidence for this is that during the same address, Mr Armstrong discreetly taught that he is the endtime Elijah.
The Tribes of Israel are seriously off track, long after inheriting the endtime blessings promised through Abraham:
Ephraim is sick. The leading Tribe of Israel�which was prophesied in the endtime to head the greatest Empire in history�did so, but has falling so far now, that it is utterly confused religiously. More Muslims attend mosque on Fridays in the UK than do Britons attend church on Sunday. The leading (wicked?) Prince appears to support Islam more than the State religion. Tony Blair became a Catholic on the same day that Europe threw off the Iron Curtain.
The United Kingdom was declared on 1 January 1801--a likely time God re-started the blessings--2520 years after Israel was divided following King Solomon�s death. (70+70+70) prophetic years later (or 30x2520 days from the start of the United Kingdom), Queen Elizabeth II launched her 50th Xmas message (in 2007) on YouTube. This is proof that for an entire Jubilee in office, the Monarch on the Throne of David has promoted Babylonian religion to the leading Tribe of the House of Israel.
14% of people in Britain are foreigners. Many Britons are emigrating elsewhere. The military often announces cutbacks. The health care system is costly and widely complained about. The elderly are afraid of the youth. High percentages of the youth are wedded to media and or other idols. And as Mr Armstrong predicted, Briton�s future in Europe is uncertain, and therefore her survival is precarious.
Manasseh is visibly falling. After fulfilling endtime prophecy to be the greatest single nation in history, America is coming apart at the seams. Legal and illegal Gentile immigrants are sapping the USA of its resources, and are aiding in claims to return parts of the country to Gentile ownership. The leading candidates for the next President are a Gentile: and a woman. Are there no men left in Israel? The decline in American leadership, her overstretched military, divisive politics, enormous national debt and big business failures, lack of morality, materialistic and evolutionary education, widespread pornography, crime and idolization of entertainment and entertainers, are sapping the USA's strength.
Since a handful of men on 9/11 caused the huge trouble they did, a supernaturally empowered Beast and False Prophet would have no problem in snatching America�s power away in one day, with the help of the Prince of the Power of the Air, Satan. As happened to the patriarch Job. Trusting in a disobedient-to-God, America�s military might, is a precarious thing, as it can disappear suddenly. Both the Bible and Mr Armstrong predicted sudden destruction will befall endtime Israel. See Jeremiah 4:9,17-26 and Ezekiel 7:14, for example.
The State of Israel can't hold out much longer. External pressures from Judah�s enemies (including nuclear threats)�and internal division among Jews divided about the way forward�are heading to a point of no return�unless God intervenes. Which of course, he will, after the greatest time of trouble ever. A house divided cannot stand. Various of Judah�s leaders�including the Prime Minister--are accused of immoral and/or criminal behavior. According to a leading magazine, Tel Aviv is known as �the brothel of the Middle-East�. Jerusalem is a hodge-podge of Babylonian religion.
The nations of Israel in general are far from
God.
None
of them officially keep the Sabbath or Holydays. Babylon derived
religion is the state religion in many Israelite nations, or
privately repackaged as New Age religion. Evolution is a wide spread
myth that is believed. In Iceland many people believe in and talk to
elves. In Scandinavia there is a trend back toward pagan religion.
Etc, etc.
Time is running out.
Few early witnesses of the Philadelphia Era remain. Only two of the first seven Evangelists�who were ordained in 1952, 1000 weeks after the Radio Church of God was incorporated�remain as official witnesses of the highest rank, of the Philadelphia Era�s early years: namely Messrs Roderick C. Meredith and Raymond F. McNair. There can�t be more than a few individuals left, if any, of the original 1933 congregation who witnessed the start of the Philadelphia Era of the true Church of God. Unless the end comes soon, no-one will be left of the first generation of the Philadelphia Era, which started in 1933.
6000 years have past, by most accounts. Except if the counting is meant to start from after the unknown time that Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden. In other words, because we don�t know how long that was, the end can happen unexpectedly.
The Jewish historian and official biographer of Sir Winston Churchill, Martin Gilbert, described The Balfour Declaration of 2 November 1917, as the major turning point in 20th Century Jewish history. Remember that this Declaration was made with the authority of the legitimate heir reigning from the throne of David, situated in the chief Tribe of Israel�Ephraim�and, by the Welsh Prime Minister David Lloyd-George, who could have been a Levite or descendant of Moses or Aaron the High Priest. In all likelihood it was made by the highest authority possible.
As intended by the Balfour Declaration, on 9 Dec 1917 General Allenby and British Jews recovered Jerusalem�lost to the Jews since 70AD. This was exactly 2520 years to the day after King Nebuchadnezzar first besieged the Jews, resulting in them being taken captive to Babylon, (according to Herbert W Armstrong).
70x70 weeks resonates with the sound of how God works: such as the 70 Weeks prophecy, and the fact that prophecy revolves around God dealing with the 70 nations listed in Genesis 10; and primarily through Jerusalem (symbolic of literal and spiritual Israel).
If Trumpets 2011 sees the start of the Day of the LORD, it fits in with the general way things seem to be going timewise.
9. God has already made a significant point about the Two Witnesses identity.
22 prophetic years after Herbert W Armstrong was first called, the State of Israel gained independence. About 22 years after Herbert W Armstrong was ordained, the first 7 Evangelists in the endtime, were ordained. Giving Mr Armstrong that much head start.
Less than 9 years after he died, Mr Armstrong�s successor proved, that he could not hold to the Church�s doctrines, nor hold the Church together.
22 years after Herbert W Armstrong died, no-one has been able to hold together or regather together the entire Philadelphia Era membership with its original doctrines in one organization. This demonstrates that only God can empower someone to do this; that this has not been his will so far; and that only he can appoint whom he calls �My two witnesses� (Revelation 11:3).
22 is a Bible symbol for completion (22 books in original Hebrew Bible; 22 letters in Hebrew alphabet). Therefore, 22 years after Mr Armstrong�s death, on 16 January 2008, God may be making the point that only one man can represent the Philadelphia Era lampstand:
10. With God, all things are possible.
Since the Two Witnesses are two men represented by two lampstands�who in turn represent the two last Church Eras�how could one of them not be Herbert W Armstrong? Since he is the Elijah who restores ALL things, how can anyone else restore anything before the Day of the LORD?
Does this indicate HWA may have to return from death to complete his mission, as he already has once before? This may in part explain Ezekiel 33:33, and fulfil other predictions made by Mr Armstrong and Gerald D. Waterhouse. Such as HWA also being Zerubbabel who started the endtime Church, and will complete building it.
And if so, is GTA the messenger to Laodicea (the Joshua who must return to get clean garments) and complete his mission, by setting an example for all Laodiceans, showing God�s mercy to him and them?
Since the Beast and False Prophet enter the world stage with supernatural power, will it be in counterfeit of a miraculous re-entrance by the Two Witnesses?
Who else has more widely and clearly witnessed to the world in the endtime than HWA and GTA?
Whether or not the above scenario is correct, it demonstrates that without any compromise, God could unexpectedly change how things work out, in a split-second. Nothing is too hard for God. The end may be nearer than you think.
