New Look at
Endtime Chronology
in
the light of Herbert W Armstrong's
prophetic ministry
The
past events below could only have been co-ordinated with such
precision by Heaven. Since God alone knows the actual timing of
the Messiah's arrival, this analysis is meant as a rough guide to the
kind of time still necessary before that event. And, to show
that God's Hand is guiding events in a systematic (albeit not fully
understood) way.

Balfour Declaration.
Described by the Jewish historian and biographer of Churchill, Sir Martin Gilbert, as a major turning point in Jewish history, (in his book "The Jews of the 20th Century").
If the scenario is correct that the endtime starts with the Balfour Declaration, it is significant that it was made by a Welsh Prime Minister (thus probably a Levite or descendant of Aaron the High Priest) in collaboration with a monarch of the Royal House of David--in other words, at the very highest level in greater Israel. This allowed, for the first time since Nebuchadnezzar besieged Jerusalem, many Jews to return to the Promised Land.
Alternatively,
the endtime may have started when Mr Armstrong was first activated by
God, to become the final Elijah, theoretically on the Feast of
Trumpets 9-9-1926 (HWA Day 1).

to the Jews since 70AD. Exactly 2520 years to the day after
King Nebuchadnezzar first besieged the Jews, resulting in them being

This
parallels the earlier 2520 years when God withheld the promises made
to Abraham, in the 10-Tribe House of Israel's case, which may have
ended on 1 January 1801--the first time after Israel divided
following King Solomon's death, that the United Kingdom was again
declared (in Britain, where the throne of David had moved).

the most famous descendant in the 20th Century of King David of
Israel, (other than Queen Elizabeth II seated on David's prophesied
continuous throne), Herbert W Armstrong, later stated that his eyes
first became open to God's truth in the Fall of 1926. The first
day of which was this Feast
of Trumpets.
The Kings of Israel counted their reigns from this annual Holyday
that falls on Tishri 1 in the Hebrew Calendar. This is the most
likely and idealistic date that God first activated Herbert W
Armstrong as the endtime Elijah (prophesied to come in Malachi
4:4-6).
There
were exactly 75 years between this date and the terrorist attack of
September 11, 2001 on America. This was the kind of event HWA
had long prophesied would come unless the British and American
descendants of the two main Tribes of the House of Israel, (Ephraim
and Manasseh) repented of their idolatry and Sabbath-breaking, which
had led their forefathers into national captivity.

true Church] wrote a letter to HWA agreeing to read his already
written manuscript identifying the Anglo-Saxons of England and
America as the chief Tribes of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel.
This shows HWA understood this Bible truth before he preached to the
descendants of Israel's Lost Tribes worldwide. Dugger also
agreed to read HWA's treatise disproving evolution.

etc--have ever come close to that circulation. HWA was a major
publishing and broadcasting pioneer.

Beast (or Wild Animal) of the Book of Revelation, lasted exactly 444
weeks. 4 is a Bible symbol of the Earth. In its negative
sense 444 is a well-known symbol of "the material world" or
cosmos, which Satan rules.
Herbert W
Armstrong uniquely recognized the prophetic significance of this
event (described in Revelation 17:10 as "one is"--in the
present tense) when it happened.
This
confirmed endtime prophecy--closed to Daniel and his
predecessors--had been opened to HWA. It also confirms, since
God first shows his secrets to his prophets, that HWA was a prophet
(Amos 3:7).
Since the endtime Elijah was
to “restore all things”, it identified HWA as that prophet.
He was the one who finally unveiled the Books of Revelation and
Daniel, upon which the true Church still bases its prophetic
understanding.
Based on the Rev 17:10
prophecy, Mr Armstrong predicted that Mussolini would declare a
revival of the 'Holy' Roman Empire, before the Duce did so.

The death of Mussolini ended the exactly 444-week-long
Rome-Berlin Axis and the 6th Head of the Beast ("one is"
Rev 17:10)--the 6th revival of the 'Holy' Roman Empire.
It was only possible to see this in the present tense form of the prophecy at the time it happened--which Herbert W Armstrong did. Since God first reveals his secrets to his prophets, HWA had to be a prophet to understand what he saw. The only major prophet prophesied to restore all things before the Day of the LORD is the endtime prophet Elijah.
Jesus said no man can work during the night of the Tribulation, therefore Elijah's Restoration had to precede the Tribulation and the Great Falling Away (which could only be from Elijah's even greater Restoration of All Things). Thus HWA must be the final Elijah, who is a prophet in the sense of making clear what all the other prophets meant. He also spread their message further than all of them combined.
This
was before there were any Ambassador College trained ministers.
So none of them even, can legitimately claim now to be the prophet
Elijah who introduced the endtime, or preceded Mr Armstrong in
understanding that the endtime had arrived. What could anyone
restore more than Mr Armstrong did, that would offer a better
salvation than the Church was already offered through him?
Hitler committed suicide two days later on 30 Apr 1945, Day 6809.

covering the death of Elvis Presley. The subsequent reported
sightings of Elvis being still alive, or back from the dead, were a
surreal counterfeit of what actually happened to Herbert W Armstrong
on the same day.

California Receiver's invasion--which (in hindsight) also included a
diversionary tactic. Attention was focused on JWT's resistance
to the Receiver. This made him appear to be a 'savior' of the
Church-leading to HWA passing the baton to him. The later
revelation of his true colors, as a Man of Sin in the spiritual
Temple of God, may mean he has been responsible for more genuine
members going astray than anyone in the history of the true Church so
far: since the last two Eras probably have more members than any
previous Era.
19110=10x1911. In New Testament gematria, 1911="The
Antichrist", of whom the latter-day Judas is a type. The
yet to come False Prophet whom he typifies, Christ will destroy on
arrival.
The endtime events already known, indicate the overall sequence is:
Elijah's
Restoration/The Great Falling Away from Elijah's Restoration, which a
Man of Sin has already precipitated in the true Church/"then
shall that Wicked one be revealed whom the Lord will consume"--after
he and his cohort administrate the Great Tribulation for its full
length.
In other words, read carefully, 2 Thessalonians 2 shows there are two
main religious deceivers: One in the true Church, and one in
the False Church who has miraculous powers. This could not be
deduced until after Mr Armstrong died and his successor departed from
the Truth.

This was only a
year and a third after Mr Armstrong died, and JWT had said he'd walk
in HWA's shoes-which he proceeded to do backwards. Only 30 weeks
after JWT publicly put in print that HWA had restored 18 major truths
in the Church.

This was the 9th of Ab. The Babylonians and Romans who destroyed the first two Temples of God on the 9th of Ab, both worshipped Jupiter (a symbol of Satan, as their chief 'god'.
Planet--in Greek--means wandering star, of which Jupiter is the chief]). Occurred in the 444th week after HWA died. It was the largest known explosion in human history, and occurred on the 49th (7x7th) Anniversary of the first Atomic test at Trinity.

The chief of the Seven Wonders was the Statue and Temple of Jupiter at Olympia, in Greece. All the 'wonders' revolved around pagan worship.
"The historians...say that Cronus was the first king in heaven...some say that Zeus [the Greek name for Jupiter] wrestled with [his father] Cronus himself for the throne, others that Zeus set up the [Olympic Games] in honor of this victory of his" ("Description of Greece" Book 5, by Pousanias).
Cronus
appears to represent God the Father, seen from Satan's distorted
point of view: that he, Lucifer, won the First War in Heaven.
In other words, the Olympic Games celebrate Satan's imagined victory
over God who created him.
The Statue of Jupiter was made by the leading Greek sculptor of the day, Pheidias, at Greece's most celebrated festival. He completed it about 438BC.
The
head of the huge (over 40 feet high) seated Statue of Jupiter almost
touched the inside ceiling of the Temple of Jupiter, located at the
home of the Olympic Games in Olympia in Greece.
The historian Philo of Byzantium wrote when the Statue of Jupiter was about 200 years old: "Whereas we just wonder at the other six wonders, we kneel in front of this one in reverence, because the execution of the skill is as incredible as the image of Zeus [Jupiter] is holy..." (Philo 3:3).
In the Apostle Paul's day, the city of the Ephesians worshipped the goddess Diana, and the image, which fell down from Jupiter (Acts 19:23-35).
Both John and Elizabeth Romer in their book "The Seven Wonders of The World" (ISBN 1 84188 037X), and Judith Swaddling of the British Museum in her book "The Ancient Olympic Games" (ISBN 0-7141-2161-4), make a startling point about the statue made by Pheidias: that the well known face of Jesus, was copied from this pagan statue of Jupiter, [which symbolized Satan, the god of this world: 2 Cor 4:4].
The usually mosaic icon was called "Christ Pantocrator"--Greek for "Ruler of the Universe"-representing the almighty Creator and Savior in one person. The image appeared inside a 1000 churches in Byzantium, spreading from there to Rome and falsely becoming known as the face of Jesus.
"The
lifespan of the Zeus [Statue of Jupiter] was just over 900
years...The statue had survived long enough...for an artist to
utilize the bearded, seated figure of Zeus [Jupiter] as the image for
Christ Pantocrator. And so Pheidias' masterful image of a pagan
god lived on as one of the most important symbols of Christianity"

"Those awesome Eastern images of
Christ as king, that dark-eyed, even-featured, long-haired man that
looms in the domes of a thousand Orthodox churches, first found
expression in the face of Pheidias' Zeus [Statue of Jupiter]"

image of the Zeus, called by its Roman name of Jupiter the Thunderer,
painted on the domed ceiling of the throne room of his palace.
Later, in Constantinople...in this most Christian city, the ancient
face was called the face of Christ" ("The

When Antiochus
Epiphanes desecrated the Second Temple in Jerusalem, in what was the
main prototype of the coming Abomination of Desolation, he placed a
copy of the Statue of Jupiter at Olympias on the altar. That
symbolized Satan ruling the Universe in place of God.
That
has been Satan's ambition from the beginning.
The
endtime Elijah's successor, was a Man of Sin, who placed a false
image of God on the altar of the Spiritual Temple of God--desecrating
it with an image of the spiritual Jupiter (Satan)--causing a
spiritual abomination that desolated that Temple. His first
proposal of an alternate Marriage Covenant to the Bride-to-be
(Church) of Christ was made from Atlanta. Atlanta derives its
name from the mythological figure of Atlas, who was compelled by
Jupiter to hold up the sky, or the
Earth.
Satan seems still to be inspiring mythology.
When
the King of the North/First Beast invades Jerusalem, his action will
be Jupiter-like, causing the final Abomination of Desolation, which
will last 2300 evenings and mornings, or 1150 days (Daniel

interpreted, symbolized the successive world-ruling Gentile empires

feet. (See Daniel 2, especially verses 41-42).
The
10 toes on a pair of human feet have a total of 28 bones called
'phalanges'.
The current European Union--the general area from
which Herbert W Armstrong predicted the endtime Beast Power would
arise--is currently made up of 27 parts.
Does this indicate
the rise of the Beast Power is only one 'phalange' away?
2--Europe
looks relatively weak now. However, when its leaders the Beast
and the False Prophet arise, Satan will empower and support
them supernaturally. The prince of the power of the air,
manipulated humans to reduce the assets of Job to nothing, in one
day. Based on the global impact a few terrorists had on
September 11, 2001--the unleashed power of Satan and his cohorts
could wreck America in one day. Either literally, or in a
prophetic day of one year. Sudden destruction is prophesied for
the descendants of Israel (Jeremiah 6:26).
While no-one knows the exact day or hour of the LORD's arrival, (perhaps partly because the Day of the LORD will shake the Earth, causing the calendar to revert to a 360-day year)--nevertheless, the pattern of past events indicates God is working to an endtime with traceable footprints. At this late stage, they may allow the disciples of the 20th Century Apostle whom God sent, to have a good indication of where they now are in Bible prophecy.
