Welcome the the Official Uranium Filth website. Uranium Filth are a 5-piece Metal/Rock band from Earl Shilton, Leicestershire. The band have been going since early 2007. Starting off with just Paul Romaniuk (Drums) and Jayson Armstrong (Guitar) the band played acoustic sets at local venues with Paul covering the vocals, but this could not be a permanent arrangement, so in March 2007, the band approached Josh Sugg (Vocals) whom they had heard about through a friend. Josh was looking for a band at the time and took the offer instantly, from then on the band became a 3-piece, and had already played 2 gigs within a week of knowing each other. As the band grew a larger array of music and a larger fan base, various other members came and went but the band established their current lineup in January 2008 which consists of Josh Sugg (Vocals), Jayson Armstrong (Guitar), Paul Romaniuk (Drums), Adam Gilbert (Bass) and Jake Priestley (Guitar). Uranium Filth have previously recorded an 8 track demo album entitled "Versitile Pain" but since Adam and Jake joined the band decided to scrap the demo as they had started to develop a new sound with Adam and Jakes input, though not all the original tracks we're cut, "In A Coffin I'll Lie"- The first song the band ever wrote, and "SVAHC" remain in the bands set list, and "SVAHC" will be transferred onto the bands debut professional EP due to be recorded this Winter.

The debut EP, set to be recorded by the band this Autumn is scheduled to be have 2 tracks on it, consisting of the old favourite "SVAHC" and a newer song "Hokus Pokus". These tracks have been picked for a number of different reasons, but mainly because they are the tracks that go down well live, they get the fans going and there the ones we enjoy to play most. The EP is set to be recorded in late November 2008 ready for a Christmas Time release.
