The U.P. StreetDance Club is a non-profit organization duly recognized by the University of the Philippines, Diliman. It was created to provide a venue for expression and also aims to supervise training in various forms and styles of street dance.

The U.P. StreetDance Club is one of the most prominent dance organizations present in the country today. It was formed in 1997 by a group of students in order to provide a venue for creative expression. It also aims to supervise training in various forms and styles of streetdance. Its pioneer members were those students who were, at that time, taking basic and advanced streetdance classes under Mr. Jerome Dimalanta. He eventually became the club director.

The Club has performed in various activities such as Summer Xplosion at Splash Island, UAAP Taekwondo Opening, Strit Indakan, U.P. Dancefest I and in the annual Dance Away culminating activity in the university. Recently they have performed outside of U.P. where they were invited at The Westin Philippine Plaza, Cervini Hall in Ateneo, and in many other activities outside of the university.

Not only has the club established its mark as a streetdance group through dancing and performing, they have extended their concerns through socio-civic programs. The club taught the children of Bantay Bata as part of this program. At present, the club has been planning more of such programs in order to share their God-given talents to the other people and to help out in their own little way.

The Club continues to harness talents and skills, instill values of teamwork, discipline, and develop a critical eye for stage performance among its members.

The U.P. StreetDance Club has joined several dance competitions in and out of the campus. They have joined and have won in inter-university competitions such as Dancelebration, Danztek, JiG and Prodanz. In 2003, they won first place in the RX 93.1 Rhythm Street, DansQuest, Green Cross Funky Fragrance Dance Competition, and Dancelebration.
