Up Stage was formed only recently when a group of friends, who are all involved in musical theatre, were asked by associations and groups in the North East for a touring company, to perform concerts of popular singing and musical entertainment. With the wealth of experience and contacts we have amassed over the years it was a fairly easy task, and the result is a very talented group who individually have performed in such venues as the Newcastle Theatre Royal, The Newcastle City Hall, The Sage Gateshead, The London Palladium and The Royal Albert Hall. We are planning to make the group as well known as possible, and hope to fully continue the association into the future. Our concerts can be suited to your needs whether it be our full cast including 4 piece band or a simple trio with piano accompaniment. Our programme will take you on a journey through the most popular West End and Broadway musicals old and new, including West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, Chess, Evita, Miss Saigon, Les Miserables and many many more.
