Brian Perkins returned in 2006 as Head Coach at Upper Merion after a five year hiatus. Brian began his rowing career in 1984 at St. Joseph's Prep, where he rowed all four years. Having earned a full scholarship to Temple University, Brian displayed his growth and leadership abilities as the team captain in 1992. Brian is not new to the coaching field, as he has previously coached for Harriton High School, where in 1994 his lightweight 4+ won the National Championships. He also coached at St. Joe's Prep, Temple University, and was Head Coach at Upper Merion from 1996-2000. Brian's role within this rowing program will be varied. He will assist in all aspects: administrative work, coaching and most importantly, sharing his expertise with our organization.

This is Jason's first season coaching the Freshman/Novice Boy's for Upper Merion. He continues to be creative and strives to bring out the best in all his rowers. There is much to be learned as a novice rower and very little time to grab their attention. Jason is excited to continue his role as a mentor to the new youth of America.
