I am delighted to have been endorsed as the Republican candidate for State Representative of the 130th. district in Bridgeport.  In the following weeks I will be introducing my platform for necessary reform in Bridgeport and the State of Connecticut.

Crime and the Connecticut economy will be the focal points of the Joel Gonzalez platform for reform.  The Connecticut Death Penalty is one important matter that I will take on and share my position with the public for feed back and discussion.  Gun crime is at the top of my list of priorities and I will share with you legislation that I will intruduce if elected to the General Assembly. 

The City of Bridgeport has no Republican State Representative who will have direct communication with Governess Jodi Rell.  The Bridgeport Democratic delegation in Hartford do not reach out to the Governess and follow instructions from party leaders who are only interested in seeing Jodi Rell fail as Governess.

After 16 years as a "believing" Democrat.  I realized the Democratic party is not serious in it's desire to endorse Democrats with Good ideas and experience.  I am a Republican with the same ideas, the same burning desire and experience  to serve the 130 th. district as when I was a Democrat.
