What exactly is Unity Fest?

Unityfest is an annual festival started in 2005. The event was originally aimed toward fund raising to help a local church build a fellowship hall. Now the focus has changed. Although Unity Fest is still a fund raising event, the prime purpose of Unity Fest is to share Christ and push mans doctrine aside. We do this in hopes that for one day, Baptist, Chruch of God, Methodist, and all other denominations can unite together in worship of our one true God. Frankly, we are tired of the bickering between denominations over trivial doctrines. We feel that we should be united under CHRIST, which is the only doctrine we should be pushing in the first place!!

 

Unity Fest  consist of many things

  • Unity Fest is a music festival with mostly local preformers from the gospel genre to contemparay genre which means if you like Christian music at all you will find at least one band that you will like.
  • Preaching is an important part of spreading Christ, so we include wonderfull speakers
  • Fun and Games are included to help keep the kids occupied. They can win prizes get their faces painted and have loads of fun. Plus our event happens in the biggest park in town.
  • Food is a must at an all day event and we have good old back yard cook out food.
  • Bake sales are a big success for us. Cookies, Pies, Cakes, Brownies, Banana Pudding. If it's sweet we are probably selling it.
  • There are different things added each year so come out we might just suprise you with something really awesome

 Take the US-27 S/ROSSVILLE BLVD exit, EXIT 180B.

Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto ROSSVILLE BLVD/US-27/TN-27. Continue to follow US-27 (Crossing into GEORGIA).2.4 mi

Merge onto I-75 N/GA-401 N via the ramp on the LEFT. 103.0 mi

Take the GA-2/BATTLEFIELD PARKWAY exit, EXIT 350, toward FT OGLETHORPE.
