Lucky Anime

   Hi guys! It's been a while, hasn't it? I've been really busy throughout the year. But on the plus side, it's finally summer! I hope all of you are enjoying your summer break. =)

   The anime b-day calendar is now up. For now it only features the birthday of the characters from Naruto and Bleach. When you click on the characters' name, you will see an image of them and some additional information about them as well.

   Hey everyone! There haven't been any updates for more than a month already because I've been pretty busy. This is a quick post just to tell all the LA members that there are now new features available for you to use. If you haven't yet set up your profile, you can do so by clicking your username at the top right corner of the page after you sign in. You can put up some info. about yourself and add a profile picture. But remember that anything you put up will be viewable to the public, so please no personal info! Also, part of being a member means that you get to view the profiles of other members and make comments on their pages. Apart from this, we will soon have an b-day calendar featuring a few animes. So be sure to check back for that! And that is it for now. Have a wonderful day everyone! :)

   FAQ is up. If you need any help, check the FAQ to see if your question is already answered there.

   A "Members Area" has just been added to the nav bar. As it's name already implies, it's an area for members of Lucky Anime only. Anyone can view the works there, but only members can submit their own articles. And if an article is good enough, it will be added to the library and credited to the writer.

   Lucky Anime now has a Graphics Center. If you have a site, feel free to browse through the Graphics Center and take whatever you need. But before doing so please read the Terms of Use. For now, there are only glitters and blogs. But keep checking back for more. There will be many new features coming soon.

   The site now has a new look and template. It seems much plainer than before, but the nav bar is vertical and not horizontal like the previous template. I'm not planning on leaving this site with this template permanently. Hopefully, it will only be like this temporarily until I figure out what to do with the layout. I'm also currently working on the "Watch Anime" section of the site. As of right now, we only have a limited amount of anime up but this will change. Hope you all have a wonderful summer! =)

   Lucky Anime now has a Library and a Gallery! The Library holds information about anything related to anime...you'll like it if you love to read. There isn't much there for now since it's really recent, but it will continue to grow over time. And the Gallery holds a collection of pictures and a manga called "Golden Destiny". So you can check that out when you have time. Also, we now accept all fanworks (fanfiction/fanart) from members of the Lucky Anime Forum..so long as they belong to you. You may submit your work to the forum, where you can receive feedback from others about it. But don't forget to read the rules! Enjoy!

   The name of this site is no longer "Anime/Manga". It has been changed to "Lucky Anime" because Anime/Manga sounds too common and uncreative. Lately, there has been no progress with the reviews. That's because I am still busy with working on a different new feature for this site. There will be more added later when I have the time. Ps. For those of you who keep up to date with the Naruto manga....Sasuke??!! o.O

   We now have a lyrics page in replacement of the music page. This was the new page that I was talking about. Although I was planning to hold the page back for a little longer to add more to it, I got lazy and so I decided to just put it up now. I'm currently going to leave the page as it is because I have found something new for this site once again...which I'm actually pretty caught up with so I'll continue adding more to the lyrics page later. But for now you can sing along with the songs that we already have. I'll continue to keep you updated with anything new.

   It's going to take some more time for the music page to be put back up because as I am working it, I am also working on something else in the meantime. So please try to wait a little longer. 8) Also, someone mentioned in the guestbook that "Believe it!" isn't the catchphrase of Naruto but that "Dattebayo!" is. That is true for the Japanese anime, but for the dubbed english version of Naruto he always says "Believe it!". (haha..well that kind of makes sense doesn't it? It's in English! But you get the point..) But I personally like watching Naruto in Japanese rather than watching it in English because their pronounciations are way better. Plus, in the English dubbed the characters sound very...how can I say it...different?

   The games are now back up and you can find them in the "Arcade" section of the navigation bar. It took faster than I had expected. The arcade now has better and cooler games. But remember that the games take some time to load, so if they do not appear right away please wait a few seconds. They are also split up into different categories from which you can choose from.

   I've taken off the games and music pages for awhile because I felt that the layout was very sloppy and unorganized. (All of the noise from the games were annoying and I realized that there was no point of having the mini piano there if you couldn't hear what you were playing. ??) But the games will be back up as soon as they are fixed...and you should expect more games to be added on. As for the music there will no longer be a music page, but instead something much better in place. (You'll have to wait and see...) For now, you can listen to songs by browsing through the playlists on the homepage and the Naruto FAQ page.

   You can now watch anime on this site for free! The animes we have for now are Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, and Vampire Knight. They can be found under the title "Watch Anime" in the navigation bar. One advantage that you have when watching anime shows here is that everything can be found in one place all together. There is no need to search around for every episode. Usually, you can browse through the episodes to the right or near the bottom of the video player. I will continue to add more anime to this list. If you have any anime that you would like to recommend please tell me in the forum..or if you're not a member already you can just tell me in the guestbook. Also, remember that you don't have to be a member to comment on the shows. Okay..enjoy!

   If you haven't heard yet...a new anime has just come out quite recently and it is called Vampire Knight. The first episode aired in Japan on April 7th. The manga has 39 chapters so far. If you are looking for a good anime to watch or manga to read I would definitely recommend Vampire Knight. It is myseterious, dark, and humerous. When I began watching the first 4 episodes of this anime I was too impatient to wait for the rest to come out that I decided to read the manga. Now I am really into it and it has become one of my most favorite anime/manga. I will probably put up a review of it sometime later.
