For those of you who do not know me, I'm Simon Boone. Please, call me Simon. The details of my personal life are irrelevant to the issues which will be discussed here, so I won't be divulging them. Suffice it to say, I'm a red-blooded American, Patriotic man, who has progressivley, through self-education and relentless persuit, changed himself from the mindset of a Liberal/Democarat, to currently that of a member of the "Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy". In short: I used to base my political and moral "beliefs" on the way I felt about certain things, but have since learned to study the FACTS, and base my opinions thusly. It's a natural change once one decides to, as the Bible puts it, "seek proof in all things". I am not a Republican, Libertarian, or Constitutionist, per se. I am an intelligent American, and I base my opinions and decisions upon facts, rather than emotions or "feelings".
I decided upon the title of Under God and In Your Face due to the ridiculous notion that the words "under God" should not be included in the Pledge of Allegiance, primarily because of the misconception that the U.S. Constitution states something about the "seperation of church and state". That's not what it says at all. It says that the government cannot establish a national religion, and that's about it. It's the "politically correct" crowd who has adopted this notion as fact, just as they have the ideas of "cultural diversity", "gay rights", "gun control" and other idiocy. So, in direct opposition to the P.C. morons, and along with my personal beliefs, I have titled the site accordingly. No apologies.
