Happy New Year! Let's go heels in 2009!

The Tar Heel Men's and Women's Track and Field/XC Teams shared the evening together on December 3, 2008 for the teams annual Christmas party where they invited families in need to eat, laugh, and receive some gifts in hopes to bring joy during the holiday season. This year the Heels celebrated with 3 families: Geraldine, grandmother raising 7 children, Starke family with 1 child, and the Calder family with 4 children. In addition to the 3 families, the Heels helped a 4th family, the Williams family with 5 children. This was the first time the team took care of a family of the previous year. There's some video footage of Mrs. Williams receiving the gifts.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!
