The UMass Turf Club was officially reestablished during the 2005/2006 school year.  The purpose of the club is to provide fellowship and networking opportunities for its members.  Our goal is to display to the turfgrass industry that the University of Massachusetts and Stockbridge School of Agriculture provide students with a Turfgrass Management curriculum that rivals any other institution in the country.   Club activities include field trips and renovation projects at area golf courses and sports fields, attendance at regional and national conferences, and speaking engagements with turfgrass and industry professionals. These and other activities combine to enhance the knowledge base and professionalism of all members.
