       Welcome to my site.  I hope you enjoy your visit!

For the Imperator part of my site, I have written most of the information in the present tense, as if she were around today and sailing regularly across the Atlantic. Think of the Ultimate Imperator as an Internet travel website where you can take a tour of the ship, discover her history, and even book a sailing in one of our four spacious classes (disclaimer time: this site is not endorsed by nor affiliated with the Hamburg Amerika Line). I know I know... it's bleeding obvious but you have to say these things as a matter of course.

To make Ultimate Imperator all the more fun and attractive, I have taken the painstaking task of colorizing a variety of original black & white photos on Photoshop, including a huge complete cross-section of the ship. PLEASE NOTE that the colors used in the photographs are of my own design and represent a romantic ideal rather than an idosyncratic representation of the actual setting. And as such computer artwork takes time... new pictures are forthcoming when the wife stops screaming at me to get off the bloody computer!

Finally...  I do not mind other sites using my colorized pictures, but I would appreciate if you gave my site credit and a link. Thanks.
