Second Class

Second Class on the Imperator extends from C Deck/Lower Promenade down to H Deck and is serviced throughout by an elevator for Second Class only. The suites are located Decks E, G, and H Decks and with a few suites on C Deck near the elevator. The accommodation in Second Class is 606 passengers on .

Our standard Second Class staterooms use two hardwood berths in bunk style, while against the other wall is a sofa bed couch. Against the wall between them is a sink with running water and a vanity mirror.

We are proud to say that our public rooms in Second Class are of a size and with appointments that far exceeded most other First Class areas on small Atlantic liners. On D Deck there is a Smoking Room, Lounge/Library, and the Second Class gymnasium, which measures an impressive 16 x 4 meters. On E Deck, there is a Barber shop and Ladies Salon, and on F Deck a spacious 365-seat Dining Room; spacious and decorative with Roman columns running its length. For private entertainment among the passengers, there is a Steinway piano with a selection of compositions.
