How to play Starcraft:

Click on the unit you want to use. Right click on the blue crystals, called minerals, to send the SCV, Drone, or Probe to go grab resources. Clicking and dragging your mouse over multiple units selects mutliple units. Send all of your workers to get minerals. Once you have 100 minerals (shown in the top right), click build with one of the workers, and build a refinery, extractor, or assimilator. This gathers gas. Once you have enough gas and minerals, or at least about 200 minerals, build a barracks/spawning pool/gateway. Remember, you can always build more workers at your command center, hatchery, or nexus. Once your barracks, gateway, or spawning pool is complete, you can build a basic unit at the hatchery (if you're zerg) or you can build a unit at the barracks/gateway. Now you have the basics. Get to work, soldier!

Guild Wars:

Basically just move around with the arrow keys on the keyboard. Clicking on someone with a green exclamation mark over their head means they have a mission. Once you click, you automatically run towards what you clicked on. This includes NPCs, Monsters, and Mission people. The map is easily used. Press M to access your map. Places you've visited will help you. If you click on a place you've visited, you can automatically travel there without having to wander around in the woods for it. You don't need food or water in the game, so you're set there. Gold is hard to find. You're better off selling stuff to get gold. Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, etc. items are rare items. You can sell them for a higher price than white items. Now that you have the basics down, you can go play.
