MOON & SOLAR INFLUENCE

                   ON PARANORMAL ACTIVITY

 

There is a myth that the phase of the moon can have an odd affect on people and animals, in the case of the werewolf a bit of both.  Stories and even reports of psychotic episodes linking to the full moon phase are very popular and colorful.  The word lunacy originated from the Latin word ‘Luna’ translates into the English word moon. 

The moon phase does have an effect on tidal movement and if the human body is made up of approximately 75% water, can the moon phase psychically effect us and in a way that would cause a reaction in our psyche?  My good wife, who is a psychologist, confirmed that the later part of this question is without a doubt, possible.   It is the earlier part of this question that remains unanswered, as of yet.    

 

Research into whether the Moon Phase has or could influence Paranormal Activity was carried out by the IPRFINC, International Parapsychology Research Foundation (www.iprfinc.com/brian12.html) from 2000 and 2005.  It’s an interesting read and it opens with the following comment;

 

Through the vehicle of scientific exploration we can now dispel this myth, and although it is true that the moon does hold a minor degree of influence over paranormal activity there are other factors that weigh in on the subject far more heavily.

The reported is very scientific and relates to the earths response to whatever the Sun throws at it, such as solar x-Rays and Solar Flares. 

As much as I’m no Medium, I’m no scientist, so it baffles me as to how on earth someone can prove that a massive explosion on the sun, can cause what is know as an Orb, just the same as no one has definitely proved these Orbs are Spirits, Souls of the once living. 

No matter how ‘little’, what influence ‘does’ the moon have on paranormal activity?

	New Moon – The Moon's unilluminated side is facing the Earth. The Moon is not visible (except during a solar eclipse).
	Waxing Crescent - The Moon appears to be partly but less than one-half illuminated by direct sunlight. The fraction of the Moon's disk that is illuminated is increasing.
	First Quarter - One-half of the Moon appears to be illuminated by direct sunlight. The fraction of the Moon's disk that is illuminated is increasing.
	Waxing Gibbous - The Moon appears to be more than one-half but not fully illuminated by direct sunlight. The fraction of the Moon's disk that is illuminated is increasing.
	Full Moon - The Moon's illuminated side is facing the Earth. The Moon appears to be completely illuminated by direct sunlight.
	Waning Gibbous - The Moon appears to be more than one-half but not fully illuminated by direct sunlight. The fraction of the Moon's disk that is illuminated is decreasing.
	Last Quarter - One-half of the Moon appears to be illuminated by direct sunlight. The fraction of the Moon's disk that is illuminated is decreasing.
	Waning Crescent - The Moon appears to be partly but less than one-half illuminated by direct sunlight. The fraction of the Moon's disk that is illuminated is decreasing.

There is a reported change in geomagnetic activity on Earth and it can directly attribute to the influence of the gravitational field of the moon as it approaches ‘full moon’.  At this phase the gravitation field is stretched.

 

The information we’ve come across show’s that the lunar cycles isn’t alone in affecting paranormal activity, as solar activity also has a direct effect.  There are many weather stations across our planet monitoring geometric and solar activity. Some organizations provide reports on their websites so ghost hunters may actively monitor the conditions, finding the best dates for investigations.

The human body is composed of energy, operating at a frequency of 60 Hz and according to one of the basic laws of physics, as our bodies die, this energy must go somewhere.   It is one theory that this energy is released into the environment as the spirit or the soul.

The geometric field is the magnetic field observed in and around the Earth. This field is dynamically affected by peaks in the lunar cycle, such as New and Full moons. The lunar cycle influences the magnetic field around the Earth - providing what could be considered as a power boost in the field. This field is used by spiritual beings to "feed" - to gain energy. The increased energy they receive assists them in their communication and potential manifestation.

The sun also plays an important element in this formula. It is the solar flare activity that is important to monitor. Solar flares are huge releases of energy. Research has shown that periods of increased solar flare activity results in increased paranormal activity. One to four days after an M or X class flare occurs, a slower cloud of solar material and magnetic fields reaches Earth, resulting in a geomagnetic storm. These storms cause variations in Earth's surface magnetic field. During a geomagnetic storm, a portion of the solar wind's energy is conveyed to the Earth's magnetic field, causing it to change rapidly in direction and intensity, supercharging the environment.

According to other research, peak paranormal activity occurs during geomagnetic storm activity and periods when either an M or X class flare exists. The charging of the environment that occurs helps to energize the spiritual realm, providing them with the necessary energy to communicate and manifest. The side effects are that while the environment is so energized, it causes problems for any energy measurement equipment, such as EMF meters, causing false readings.

Basically what to look out for in these readings is from two areas, x-ray flare and geomagnetic storm.  The x-ray flare monitor has five different settings and the geomagnetic storm monitor has three settings, Quiet, Unsettled and Storm.  Any reading in the solar x-ray flare monitor and Storm reading in the geomagnetic is the ideal period for increase paranormal activity.

We are currently going through our back log of investigations, to assess what Lunar and solar information we have omitted from our findings.  Maybe it will explain the lack of activity on return visits to locations that previously provided possible paranormal activity!
