GROUND MAINTENANCE
Teams
must pay to maintain their ground each week a game is played there. The amount of maintenance payable depends on
the size of your ground and the amount collected through the turnstiles. The ground capacity is multiplied by 0.5 and
the gate money is divided by 50. These
are added together and this is your costs.
Rushden & Diamonds have a ground capacity of
80,000, this figure is halved, and this gives you costs of £40,000. If the gate collected is £1,75m, this
figure is divided by 50, this gives you a cost of £35,000.
Total costs for Rushden & Diamonds would be £75,000. If a club plays two home games
in a week, both gate receipts would be taken into account in calculating the
costs.
STADIUM UPGRADES
Increase
the amount of seating. Additional seats cost £200 per seat. The smallest
increase you may do is 5,000 seats for £1m. You can increase the stadium only
at the start of the season.
