To protect and promote the Hungarian Wire-Haired Vizsla by maintaining our breed’s unique qualities and characteristics as developed in Hungary, the country of our breed’s origin.
To preserve the Hungarian Wire-Haired Vizsla working standard in the field as a close working gun dog for the foot hunter.
To assist the United Kennel Club Inc. in encouraging participation in Field Trials, Conformation shows, and TAN (Natural Ability) Tests in the USA which are modeled as closely as possible after those held in Europe under the auspices of the F.C.I.
To educate the public about the Hungarian Wire-Haired Vizsla in the United States.
To provide a forum of fellowship, friendship and cooperation among owners and fanciers of the breed.
