UdderlyCountry Goat Farm

Hi! Our names our Catie & Carrie. We have been specializing in nubians for about 7 years. Nubians are one of the most affectionate breed of goats. So far we have 4 does, 1 yearling, and 2 bucks. All of our lovely friends can be viewed on all the other pages. We also 1 pygmy/nigerian dwarf mix doe, 2 nigerian dwarf does, 2 nigerian dwarf juniors, and 1 nigerian dwarf buck. Hope YA'LL enjoy.

We are located in College Station, Texas on 5 1/2 acres. We have tons of other animals but goats are our pride and joy. All our goats are kept on a certain feed schedule depending on if dry or milking, or pregnant or open, or still growing. When does are not in milk, they get lactation pellets and sunflower seeds. When pregnant they get lactation pellots and beet pulp shreds. When in milk they get a combination of the lactation pellots, beet pulp shreds, and a home mixed feed containing: sunflower seeds, 12% horse feed, alfalfa pellets, and steam rolled corn(or steam flaked corn).  The doe kids nibble on and eat with the mommas till they are weaned. They get the home mix till 6 months of age. At 6 months they get lactation pellets and our home mix. At 1 yr they just get the lactation pellets. Our bucks get bull conditioner and beet pulp shreds. In the mornings they get sunflower seeds added and at night they get show bloom added. All goats get hay every morning and we feed twice a day. Coastal hay all the time and alfalfa if being milked, pregnant, or a growing kid. Our goats also have free range on Baking Soda and Salt. All our goats stay in large seperated paddocks.
