University of Connecticut Dance Team

The University of Connecticut Dance Team is a club sports organization involved in various student and community activities. The UConn Dance Team can be seen performing at the UConn Football home games held at Rentschler Field, Men's and Women's home basketball games held at Gampel Pavilion and the Hartford Civic Center. We also participate in regional competitions as well as UDA nationals in Orlando, Florida. The UConn Dance Team is also involved in student activites such as HuskyTHON and Homecoming, and other community fundraisers such as our Annual Dancers For Cancer Dance Showcase.

The Dance Team is made up of 14-18 dancers. During basketball season, we perform hip hop, jazz, and pom style dances  choreographed by the coach and captains.  We also have the opportunity to work with some of the nations leading choreographers in preparation for UDA Nationals.
