Geology Club at UC Davis
Welcomes you!
The goal of the Geology Club is to provide a fun, social, and educational environment for those who have a love of geology and the outdoors.
We meet bi-monthly (or less) in the Geology Department on campus to discuss upcoming events and activities. Wee meet in the Geology Building in Room 181, right across the copy machine room, where all the SNACKS are located.
How do I join?
Just come by to a meeting or event, such as one of the many BBQs we have. It does not matter if you are a Geology Major, anyone can join!
Why join?
The Geology Club participates in many events and is an awesome way to socialize with other geologists.
- In 2007, 2008, 2009 the Geology Float received top prize in the Picnic Day Parade.
- As a club we also host a Winter Geology Trivia Night, where Professors, grad students and undergrads have a lot of fun answering Geology questions.
- Throughout the school year we have movie nights, BBQs and field trips & other events [have an idea? Put it up on the web blog!]
IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO JOIN & EVERYONE IS WELCOMED
