I am running for President on u4prez.com because I believe in America.
I believe in the principles that this nation was founded on and I am running as a Republican because I believe the Republican ideology best interprets the practical application of government in accordance with those principles.
I am not a Republican because of politics but because of the ideals the party represents. it is for that reason that I will gladly oppose a fellow Republican when they stray from common decency, the principles of our party or put party before nation.
Some might call me a conservative Republican but I call myself a commonsense Republican. I believe commonsense dictates the answers to our problems. I believe that commonense dictates that we must secure our borders and enforce our laws.
I believe that commonsense dictates that we must take the fight to the terrorists before they bring the fight back to us.
Commonsense tells us that the individual knows what is best for themselves far more than the bureaucrats of any government body.
It is with these beliefs as a commonsense Republican that I run a campaign for President on u4prez that aspires to the best in all of us. We need leaders who can explain the tough roads that lie before and who can unite us and prepare us for the hard work that we must endure to keep this nation great. It is with these beliefs that I hope my campaign can achieve such lofty goals in the forum of ideas known as u4prez.com.
My general course of action will be based on the fact that the United States has risen to a position of responsibility that we have not neccesarily sought but have none the less received. As the only remaining superpower, world order is a responsiblity that we cannot shrink from. This does not mean that we have control over all internal matters of soveriegn governments throughout the world but it does mean that we must insure international stability. If certain nations turn their backs on this moral responsibility that is their choice but it cannot be ours. The events of September 11, 2001 have proven that by taking lightly the anti-democratic forces of intolerance and extremism, we are risking peace and stability throughout the world.
Domestically we need leadership that offers prosperity through the free market. Greed and misdeed must be monitored for and punished but free enterprise and free markets must not be shackled. We need leaders who will utilize the free market to expand healthcare and make it more affordable. We must invest in energy efficiency and independence secure our borders, focus on educating the next generation of Americans and restore our citizens faith in the constitution which is suppose to guide us. While doing this, families need to be defended from big government and the high taxes required to operate big government. Individual Americans need to be protected by wayward governments in our towns, cities and states who often turn their backs on the constitution and relegate the rights of their people. In the end what this government needs to do is focus on freedom and defend it from the enemies within and out.
