The TY Revolution [onepointfive]

So about a day ago a little image appeared on Steve Stamatiadis's DeviantArt titled "Shazza Evolutions". In this picture it has all of the various incarnations that Shazza has gone through over the years, from 2001 (Beta?) to 200...7?

Yes, that's right, there was also a NEW Shazza design in there, made VERY recently, so it seems.

So apparently TY: GUNYIP! was at SupaNova '07, in demo form.



As you can plainly see, a woman is playing the demo while a Stormtrooper and Darth Vader himself watches on. Judging from the pic, here's what we here at TYR can get out of it.

-Picture of character you play as is shown (TY is the only known playable character at this time).
-Lifepaw replaced with lifebar.
-Time Limit.
-Speedometer (in KPH).
-Primary and Secondary weapons.
-XB360 Version shown.
-Lives re-imposed.
-Giant Logo takes up entire screen (may be worked out in later builds).
-Will attract Star Wars fans, apparently.

At the moment this is all of the info on GUNYIP! that we can get our hands on. When any more info comes in, we'll let you know. Peace!

With the announcement of TY: GUNYIP! for XBL Arcade made by Gooboo Steve on our forums, we have a reason to update again! For starters GUNYIP! is getting it's own info page, and will be updated as new stuff comes in. We've also updated our look - As you can see, this template is much more streamlined, and will be the template until we here have time to make a custom template unique to the site.

That's pretty much it for now. Time to go make this stuff happen, Tytiger out.

Today's the day! I can't believe it! TYR is actually a FULL YEAR OLD! I'm so happy right now...It could not have been possible with all of the help from everybody at TYR. Thanks you guys! =D

There are two other sites (plus thier guys) that I would like to thank, for without them TYR would not exist in ANY form.

First and foremost, I would like to very heavily thank Down Under and it's admin, Glomerate. Down Under helped set the base for TYR in all of it's forms and it's also where I met alot of my best online friends. Unfortunely, Down Under was declared "dead" by Glomerate not too long ago (a mere few days, in fact). The site and forums will stay though. While DU may be dead it will always have a place in our hearts here at TYR.

And last but certainly not least (not by a LONG shot), I would like to thank Bemanistyle and it's admins, Keith and DJParanoia. Bemanistyle was the other half of TYR's influence, and is also where TYR gets it's Bemani trait. In fact, Bemanistyle's forum influenced most of TYR LIVE, the forum here, especially Forum Boredom. To be honest I can't thank them enough for that. FB is probably the most popular board on TYR LIVE today, and it's antics, while not near as insane or adult as Bemanistyle's FB, are truly gold. Well, probably not to Bemanistyle FB. =P

And again, I can't thank everyone at TYR enough for helping make the site what it is today. It's truly a wonderful sight. =')

What's planned for the future? Well, I plan to "really" start work on TYR 2.0, for starters. When it's released, it'll blow your mind. =D I also plan to update the site ALOT more, cause I've kinda been slacking off in the department... ^_^;;

And that's pretty much it for now. Oh, I almost forgot! There's a new TYR site, it's kinda my way of showing my gratitude to you guys. It's called TYR: Ongaku Heya . It's a music site where you can get exclusive TYR Trax, Official TY Music and even Official ITG Music. I hope you guys like it, and Happy Birthday TYR!

TY1's page is somewhat revamped, it's got a TON of info on the story and characters now, but I'm not done with it just yet. I'm going to add some more info over the next week or so, then it should be done. =)

Hard to believe, ain't it? In a few days (August 18th) The TY Revolution will be ONE FULL YEAR OLD! It seems like only yesterday I was just making TYR, and now it's a huge fansite, with a booming forum and many sub-sites! Man, it could not be possible without the help and dedication of all of you guys! You, the TY fans, helped make TYR the wonderful (albeit never updated. Sorry!) site that it is today. Thank you so much guys. My friends. =')

Man, I haven't updated this site in awhile., I added a bunch of info on some of the characters in TY3. Check it out in the NotQ section. I also plan to update the site alot more, so keep on the lookout!
