Tyson Equestrian Farms Shows!

Posted by Amanda Colby at 12:18 PM on July 18, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Tyson Equestrian Farms is brainstorming some ideas to have some fun with your beloved horse(s) here at the barn. We put our heads together and thought the idea of putting on barn shows again was a great one. For those of you that are new to the Tyson Equestrian Farm family, we used to have barn shows that were open to the public but usually just the barn people came and rode and showed their horses under a carded judge and there was an opportunity to earn ribbons, practice your horse, and have fun! We are sending out an official petition to every boarder about their thoughts, comments, ideas, etc. about having some barn shows again. We will work to get a photographer at all shows or clinics and there will always be concessions. Also, an idea we had was to have a “Horse for Sale/Lease showcase” at lunchtime where people will walk around and showcase their horse for sale or lease and information about the horse will be announced. Please respond to this blog with the instructions below. This blog is open to anyone! Your opinions are very important because we want to implement something everyone will like!

INSTRUCTIONS: Below are listed different types of riding and different types of shows we can put on here at T.E.F. Please respond from 1-7 with 1 being your first choice of the types of shows or events we should put on here at T.E.F. The category with the most votes will be the first type of show put on by us, the second most votes will be for the next show and so on and so forth.

Thanks!

Tyson Equestrian... Full Speed Ahead!

A big thanks goes out to everyone who has helped and volunteered for the shows and the rodeo... they definately were alot of fun and a success! Tyson Equestrian has a full schedule this year, as we are trying to keep board low for everyone. We had a rodeo on the 12th and 13th of September, and it was a fun experience for everyone who chose to come. We are in the process of establishing a Spring Tyson Rodeo and information and dates are soon to come. Finally, the weather is cooling off, and that means Fall is in the air! Make sure to pre register for all of our open barn shows and save $5, hey that's a whole gallon of gas nowadays! Any comments, or questions about the barn in general or upcoming events, etc., please comment below!

Thanks,

Tyson Equestrian Farms
