For all the RallyCross racers out there that are in need of some well structured racing on proven tracks ran by established clubs, but don’t feel ready to go to the BRCA Nationals
Then the RallyCross TYRO Nationals is the Championship for you
This series will be run under the umbrella of the BRCA RallyCross section
It will incorporate verified rules on both driving standards track layout and race procedure
This series offers the stepping stone to Nationals, or just some where you can race in a controlled series
So if you are fed up of been cannon fodder for all the bashers smashers at you local club or series, or want to get ready for the 2009 Nationals then this is the Championship for you
The BRCA Wording states
"No driver entered for any event of the main BRCA National (“A”) series can enter for a BRCA National “B” series event"
to explain this proposals
No Driver will be allowed to enter both series, it must be one or the other,However they may be able to pull out of the TYRO series at any time and go and do nationals but will be removed from the series points totally
The word TYRO refers to Novice
To make this more transparent and easier to understand
Any Driver that finished in the top 24 of 2007 National Rallycross series (list can be found here http://www.brca-rallycross.co.uk/art...er1/series.htm) will not be considered as a TYRO series entrant for this series and will not be allowed to enter any of the 6 point scoring rounds
However the presentation day should be a joining affair and all drivers should be welcome be it A National or B Tyro
