So What?

The power of this world is in the power of chains, the connections between different things that otherwise would never come together at all. Like carbon and oxygen, who’d thought of that? The way everything is connected. It is what is at the heart of the real and what most all call 'real'. And for humans, the only flesh not like any of the rest on this world, that power lies in the use of worlds.

So what that anyone of us could find another that would agree that this thought was flawed? Would that make it so? The list of persons thought to be off base include likes of Galileo, Copernicus, the Write brothers, Newton and Einstein.

So what?

‘So’ that this may not pass away without people not knowing just ‘what’ has happened I’ll try to tell.

Not that long ago it was quite normal to enslave people based on the color of their skin, to transport these from the people that they knew into a world not known at all let alone even thought possible. The ones that didn’t die in the raids, that didn’t die during the march to the shore, that didn’t die while within those ships or on the shores of that new world or, after being sold didn’t die in route to their new homes as slaves did something many of us now no matter who we are could be could grateful for, they lived. They lived and continued the beauty that is life in some of the worst forms of living we today think we can imagine. Think just for a moment of loving anyone in your life right now that you also thought at any moment you could lose completely and there was nothing that you could do about it. But we can’t because we are and never will be them in their time. Even Charles Manson holds fear of lost of love no matter what you think of this son from another mother. Even now I can hear the others screaming with much conviction ‘so what!’

So what? These words open up such change within our world as few others can. So what this came from a young beautiful woman of color birthed from the most unlikely stock of slaves, savages brought to this land not just to build it without pay but to improve that race somehow with what was then seen as most missing in their lives. And as I see it what was most missing in them from their owner’s point of view was the idea that they as a whole were human, people like any of use today are thought of.

The beauty of this world is we all are little more than just part of the whole we all share together. No matter if a life lived homeless or that lived at the top of their game, all are eventually simply the same, all humans alive are one flesh living lives connected together and for the most part never understanding just what that really means. To sum it up in a phrase from the Motherland of us all, it takes a village to raise a child. But seeing how we no longer live in that village, I’d like to think now it takes the whole world to raise that same beloved child.

So what? So what this was only put to paper from a man estranged from his only daughter who wanted nothing more than children of his own when just a child himself? Would that make this not worth seeing to its end? So what if it took twice the time we were one to have a just a dream of an amicable conversation with my ex? In the stream of lives now alive, not to mention all those waiting for the call of the Last Trumpet, would this mundane point be so important as to hide? So what? I’m in no way alone.

Tyra please rally the people for more than just the fat around their middles, that that arms, legs or whatever else makes a beautify person feel less. Remember that from the start a woman wasn’t thought of as beautiful unless she had some fat on her backside, and as for you please don’t lose what the Lord has blessed you with now, you’ve earned it and you look great! It wasn’t until the last century that bony ladies were thought of as beautiful. I’m happy that they have come into their own but at the sacrifice of the shapely ones? No, I don’t think so.

As always, from a fossil that finds it hard to turn you off no matter what you talk about from time to time,

Stay blessed,

Eric
