General Guarantees


The following Guarantees are subject to updates. All Guarantees are for animal(s) purchased, not any traits they may pass on to their offspring.

One Week Period:

  • All descriptions are the opinion of Two Hunnyz Rabbitry. Opinions differ as to the "Quality" of rabbits, even among judges!
  • All descriptions are to the best of our knowledge. We try to be accurate, highlighting both the strong points and faults, as we see them, at the time of sale. Digital photographs of rabbits listed "For Sale" are provided in the Photo Gallery. We will provide further photos, if more are needed to make an informed decision.
  • We guarantee correct toenail and eye color on rabbits, unless these animals are specified as Brood or Pet Quality, so you have time to check for yourself. Broken toenails can grow back in white or off color so there is no guarantee past one week.
  • Mistakes sometimes happen in sexing rabbits; we will do our best to be accurate! However, if after receiving your rabbit it becomes clear we were mistaken, we will gladly offer a replacement, free of charge, if you desire; subject to the availability of a replacement in the correct sex.
  • We always recommend you spay or neuter rabbits purchased as Pet/House rabbits. We will replace any aggressive rabbit bought as a Pet, with proof of spay/neuter, that continues to display aggressive behavior.
  • Replacements are to be a rabbit of equal value, same color and breed.
  • Should there not be an equal replacement available, you will be put on a Waiting List until one becomes available.
  • With each Brood or Showable rabbit purchased you will receive a full pedigree, a copy of these Guarantees and one weeks supply of  food.
  • Rabbits bought as Pets will receive our Pet Package: a one week supply of food, care instructions, a special Birth Certificate, a copy of these Guarantees and help or advice for as long as you own your Pet.
  • You have a period of one week from the time of receiving your rabbit to apply for a replacement, based on the above Guarantees.

Exclusions on the above General Guarantees:

  • Any replacements not requested within the one week period.
  • Any faults not listed in the Guarantee.
  • If the purchaser is aware of any faults at the time of the sale and has chosen to take the rabbit(s) regardless, the above Guarantee would then be void.
  • All expenses to obtain the replacement rabbit are the responsibility of the purchaser and not covered in the Guarantee.
  • For replacement, the forfeited rabbit must be returned within a one week period, or another approved time period. Sorry, we do not hold replacement rabbits.
  • We do not guarantee against stray white hairs on solid Jr's. These stray hairs do sometimes develop on solids as they mature.
  • We will not guarantee ear carriage; development of ear length or carriage over time is unpredictable and is often subject to temperature fluctuation.
  • We do not guarantee fertility, success on the show table, or weight on any rabbit purchased. Again, there are too many variables that can affect these traits.
  • With rabbits, sometimes both Bucks and Does develop hostility upon reaching sexual maturity. We can't guarantee this will not happen. No rabbit showing aggressive behavior is kept at Two Hunnyz Rabbitry, nor are these types of rabbits intentionally sold. We try to ensure good temperament in all our rabbits.

We realize it is difficult to determine quality and make a purchase based on descriptions and photos alone. We will do our best to answer your questions as completely and honestly as possible. For questions on faults not listed or any updated Guarantees, please email.

Health Guarantees


Two Week Period:

  • Health Guarantee is for two weeks from the time the animal(s) leave our rabbitry.
  • We sell only animals known to be healthy at the time of sale and try to ensure the best possible health of all rabbits.
  • Should it become ill or die within the two week period, the rabbit will be replaced with another of equal value, same color and breed. See Exclusions below.
  • All illnesses must be reported within 12 hours of noticing.
  • For replacement, the forfeited rabbit must be returned at the purchaser's expense, within or shortly after the two weeks. Shipping and other costs to obtain the replacement (i.e. carrier, Health Certificate, travel costs, etc) will be the purchaser's responsibility. In the case of a rabbits death, the body along with a letter from your Vet stating the cause of death, must be returned as above.
  • Should there not be an equal replacement available, you will be put on a Waiting List until one becomes available.
  • We guarantee the rabbits to be free of malocclusion at the time of sale.
  • We will do our best to assist you in every way possible concerning the health and raising of your rabbits, for as long as you own them.

Exclusions on the above Health Guarantees:

  • Any illness not reported within 12 hours of noticing or death that is not reported within the two week period, will void the replacement Guarantee.
  • We do not reimburse for, or contribute toward, veterinary or necropsy bills.
  • Improper diet (please note- no vegetables should be given to rabbits before 5 months of age; also, use food provided until transitioned from our brand to yours).
  • Abusive or improper handling, neglect or accidental death.
  • Extreme temperature fluctuations.
  • Improper, unsanitary or unsafe housing causing sickness or death.
  • Injury from other animals.
  • Death or illness due to travel stress.
  • Exposure to other sick animals during travel, at shows or your residence. We do show rabbits several times per year. Although appropriate quarantine is in use, we assume exposure to upper respiratory ailments as well as other common things like fur mites.
  • We encourage quarantine from other rabbits for a period of one month, but require at least two weeks, or replacement guarantee will be void.

The above Exclusions are at the discretion of Two Hunnyz Rabbitry. Should you disagree, a qualified veterinary check or necropsy on deceased animals may be performed at the purchaser's expense. Upon proof of this, a more informed decision can be made concerning replacement. Contact us with any non-emergency health concerns before going to the vet; often there is a simple solution to something that could cost lots of money at the vet's office.
