Twilights

Wow. It has been over a year since we last updated this site, and I still receive e-mails regarding it. I'm shocked at how loyal some of you have been.
So we've decided to work on fixing up and dusting off our old site here. Let me tell you this, though:

Alright, alright. We lied. About ever actually updating this site. And we're sorry. No more excuses this time. We're just a couple of lazy girls trying to enjoy our summer.

Anyway, we do have a small update today. First of all, we did add a few new affiliates to our page; we advise you to check them out. There are a lot of good Twilight sites out there worth visiting.

Secondly, we have created a fanfiction page for, you guessed it, Twilight fanfiction! Can I hear a hip-hip-horray? We only have one entry so far, which is deffinitely up and worth reading, but we would LOVE to get submissions from you!! Please email us with any piece of Twilight fanfiction you have; we'll put it up regardless of whether we like it or not, we're not picky.

And lastly... ECLIPSE!!! Damn, guys, it's coming in less than three weeks! Go get your butt over to Amazon and order a copy. We've all got to support Stephenie here, we can't just wait around for it to show up at the library. And also, we advise everyone to check out her news page on a daily basis for the Eclipse Quote of the Day (and don't skip a day, because it'll be gone by the next). Stephenie has been kind enough to put up the first chapter of Eclipse for us to read as well. If you haven't already read it, then you should be busying yourselves with that very soon.

We hope to update a few more times before the release of Eclipse, but that depends on if there's news to spread or not. We're not making any guarentees.

Hey, everybody. We have a small update today.

First off, for all those who don't know, the New Moon special edition comes today! That's right, today, May 5th. The New Moon special edition has the first chapter of Eclipse, an Eclipse poster with another ooey-gooey love quote, and a sheet of New Moon temporary tattoos. The first chapter of Eclipse will NOT be posted on Stephenie's site until July, so hurry out and buy it!

Secondly, again, for all those who don't know, Prom Nights From Hell, the book our very own Stephenie Meyer wrote a story for, is now out in stores. Hers is by far (if you're asking my opinion) one of the better stories in the book; you won't be disappointed. A percentage of the profit earned is sent to First Books, a non-profit organization that helps to buy books for under-priveleged children.

And lastly, we have an announcement for everyone: Please do NOT sign the guestbook multiple times. Lately, we have been having issues with this. The guestbook is for guests to sign once, twice at the most, if they haven't visited in a while and maybe want to comment on something new, but that's it, everybody. The guestbook isn't a forum, so you should not be having conversations in it. Please and thank you.

Ok, all, so you know that we've been working hard to get our site back on it's feet again. The first thing we did was edit all our pages, re-wording them or completely re-doing them. We also took away some things we knew no one was using, and added some things we thought you'd like. One of those things happens to be a new forum. The old ones were a complete mess, and we didn't really know what to do with them. They were completely free lance and unmoderated. But with our new forum, things are going to be better. It's going to be nicer, and more organized. You guys should like it a lot better. So go check it out!

     Over the past several months, both myself (Mora Jane) and Chihero have been under a large amount of stress due to school work, test prep., ect. which has caused us to neglect Twilights. We apologize greatly for the inconvenience.

     As of now, we are in the process of revamping the entire site. Please be pateint, and take notice of our new updates. We plan to expand our site, create new pages, and update some of our old ones. Our new goal is to keep you better informed, and over the next few months, we hope we can acheive this, despite our preoccupations.

     As a special notice, if any of you have sent Chihero or myself a link to your website, or a Fanfic, we ask you to PLEASE RESEND them to either one of us, VIA E-MAIL, which you may find on our Contacts page. Please do NOT post them in the guestbook, as it is sometimes very easy for either of us to look those over without realizing you have posted a link.

     Also, we have been having some problems with certain people posting in our guestbook, one in particular, and we have found that her behavior was unacceptable. If you happen to see that anyone is posting in the guestbook, or the forum, or even the chatroom, for that matter, saying anything inappropriate, we urge you to contact us immediately. We're not talking about a bit of minor swearing, or anything of that nature, but if someone is hasseling you or telling you you're a bad person because you like Twilight, well, then, that is intollerable, and we want it to STOP.

     And, finally, one last thing: We know a lot of you have been asking what the song on our homepage is, and we're sorry we didn't get back to you sooner on this, but the name of the song is Good Enough by Evanescence. We're glad you all like it, but if you have any other suggestions for a song you wish us to use, please contact us.
