Climate change is the greatest threat to our planet, with carbon
dioxide (CO2) accounting for over 80% of global warming. In
the UK, burning fossil fuels to generate our domestic electricity is
our biggest source of CO2 emissions. So, one of the best
ways to combat climate change is to change your electricity supplier to
one that supplies green electricity. 'Green electricity' means
electricity produced from sources which are renewable (wind turbines,
water turbines and solar power) and do not contribute to climate
change.
