No scrap kit for this one. All you need is a tube, a photo, a frame, and a couple of Xero filters. J
Tube of choice – I am using the artwork of Jessica Galbreth, enchanted-art.com. I have purchased a license to use this work. If you do not have a license, please do not use this work. If you would like more info on purchasing a license, visit CILM
Photo of choice - I am using a photo from stock.xchng. You can find the photo I used here or you can search for your own. Be sure you use a photo that is okay to use, and credit the photo as I have, with “photo courtesy of” instead of the © symbol.
Frame of choice – I am using a postage stamp type frame from Dozi Baer’s site. You can find them here.
Font of choice – I am using “Plain Germanica” which you can find here.
Plug-ins / Filters - Xero Radiance and Xero Illustrator. You can get them here (they are free). Just download the packs with the filters you need (or all of them).
Optional – Eye Candy 3.1 or Eye Candy 5>Impact for gradient glow on text.

First, open a new canvas 600 x 250, transparent. Open your tube and duplicate it into a new window (just use Shift+D). Close the original and leave the duplicate up for reference. Open your other supplies.
Flood fill your canvas using a light color from your tube or photo. I used #aea6da.
Copy and paste your photo onto your canvas. Resize and position to your liking. Once you have it where you want it, use your crop tool – select the entire canvas and then apply the crop. This will crop off the excess photo. Save your progress.
Duplicate your photo layer. On the top photo layer, apply Xero>Illustrator: Abstraction 50, Colouration 80, Definition 118. (You may want to play with the settings, depending on your photo.)
On the Xero’d layer, change the blend mode to “Soft Light” and change the opacity to 50%. On the original photo layer, change the opacity to 75%.
Merge these two layers together and change the opacity of the merged layer to 85%. Save.
Copy and paste your frame of choice (I am using Dozi’s photo frame 03.). Stretch it out so that it takes up almost the entire canvas, but not quite. Sharpen if necessary.
Copy and paste your tube onto your canvas. Resize and position how you like, sharpen if necessary. Save.
Duplicate your tube layer.
On your duplicated layer (the top one), apply Xero>Radiance: Strangeness 125, Charm 32, Truth 237, Beauty 228.
Layer the opacity on the Xero’d tube layer to 70%. Save.
Using your magic wand, mode set to Add and tolerance and feather at 0, click inside the frame.
Selections>Modify>Expand by 5 pixels. Selections>Invert.
Now click on your photo layer and hit the delete key. Next, click on your background color layer and hit the delete key. Finally, click on your tube layer and hit the delete key. Selections>None. Save.
Now add your copyright info, license number (if applicable), and tagger’s mark (if you use one). Save
Finally, add your name. I am using font “Plain Germanica” at a size of 100, stroke width 2 and color #211f3b, and #dedef1 for my fill (background) color.
If you have Eye Candy 3.1 or Eye Candy 5>Impact you can add a gradient glow to your text. I used #dedef1 at a width of 5.
If you like, you can add a drop shadow to your text. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow. I am using settings 10, 10, 50, 5, color black. Save.
Save you are done!
