Hi and welcome to the home of steam and diesel train sounds from Australia and sometimes overseas. There are also lots of pics of my rail related travels on the images site and for those into 3D modelling, textures for use in rail simulators or anything else that might take your fancy.

Update 12/10/07 - Well, after much effort the new website is up and running, so have a look at http://www.steamsounds.org.au
I'll not be updating the site here any more (well I hadn't done since July last year anyway!), as I can update the new one whenever I want, rather than having to be online to do it as you have to with freewebs. This site will gradually revert over to my 3D modelling and other stuff, with the sound recordings and images all on the new site. I hope you will find the new site as good as this one and look forward to seeing you over there.
I'll keep the recordings on this site going for another month or so, so if there is anything here you want to keep, feel free to download it now as they will probably not appear on the new site unless I have a request for them. Don't forget, a lot of them are available on my audio CDs, which are available now from the new site at http://www.steamsounds.org.au/audiocds.html

Welcome to my old sound and image gallery dedicated to steam and diesel recordings. This site is no longer being updated with recordings, they are all now hosted at www.steamsounds.org.au so I hope you will follow the link to the new site.
