1975 : 3 songs are hard to find : number 02 - 10 & 16 °°° [ Let me know via questbook if you have them ] 
Song number 16 : The artist withdrew, because of the fact that her husband was participating in the jury.
Song number 17 : Nilüfer withdrew. There were accusations that the song lacked similarities with a French song.

1979 is the one and only difficult year to find 11 missing songs. Never there's have been so great, passoniate, magnificent entries as in the whole Turkish National Finals. But is it a pitty that the semi-finals only exsisted in 1978 and 1979, parallel with the fact that this was the year that Turkey had to withdraw from the contest because of the pressure of Arab nations. Otherwise this would ment a whole recognition of Israel back than. Turkey would participate with the song 'Seviyorum' - ' I love ' on the 11th spot just after Israel and just before France on stage. The 11th place was not ment to be for Turkey, in fact that the performance ranking on stage was also known about 11 days before the contest. The government pressure made TRT withdrew. Not an easy task for a national broadcaster 3 deccades ago !
These missing songs are somewhere circulating, if you have anything mail to me so we can share a spectucalar year of the Turkish National Finals togehter. I higly recommend to listen to the disqualified song by Ilhan Irem with his song litterally translated as " A STAR " ... maybe a year of struggle in twice for Turkey that year - as maybe the best song got disqualified ... was early released before the final night. Was it a big mistake from Ilhan Irem, and if this powerfull song was chosen and was sended to Jerusalem that year.... We will never know !!
