I'm always updating and redesigning this whole website, so get in touch (email me) if there's anything you'd like to see or think is missing. I've found that lots of the people who like the Jimmy Coates series are into other action thriller books as well, such as Alex Rider (Anthony Horowitz), Young Bond (Charlie Higson), Cherub (Robert Muchamore), James Bond (Ian Fleming), Boy Soldier (Andy McNab), but there are also a lot of Jimmy Coates fans who aren't old enough for those other titles yet. I recommend Jimmy Coates for 8-13 year-olds. There are also a lot of older teens who enjoy the philosophical dilemmas as well as the chases, fights and explosions. Likewise, there are some very smart 7 year-olds enjoying the books with their parents. They're great books for boys, but I've also met a lot of girls who like them - girls who don't like being forced to read Jacqueline Wilson books and perhaps aren't yet into Georgia Nicholson (Louise Rennison).
