This is testing done to try to determine if playing hot numbers can give an advantage against future spins.
This test uses the following 3 options :
(note : "hot" used below refers to a number that has shown above average. for example in 37 spins a number has shown more than 1 time - it is now termed hot)
Option 1 - 37 spins (1 cycle) is recorded - the following 37 spins are played on only the numbers that were "hot" during qualification.
Option 2 - 74 spins (2 cycles) are recorded - the following 74 spins are played on only the numbers that were "hot" during qualification.
Option 3 - 111 spins (3 cycles) are recorded - the following 111 spins are played on only the numbers that were "hot" during qualification.
The Roulette Xtreme code is included below as a download link for those using this program, feel free to run it against actuals/rng for further testing if interested.
The numbers used for this test are Table 1 from Spielbank/Hamburg all spins from table 1 from Jan 1 through April 1 2006 [23,874 spins]

Now, before anyone gets too excited about the results (option #1 - 37 spin cycles) let's look at the stats, which tell the true story of how a system performs.
Net % for layouts placed (bets made)
option 1 = -94.34 % option 2 = -94.52 % option 3 =. -94.57 % right on taget.
Now, let's look at the "winner" option #1 -
For this test, the bankroll needed is known now as 1,290 units (max drawdown) Our ending balance is +2,144 units -- so after 3 months of playing all day everyday at table 1 we don't even have 2 bankrolls in profit.
The actual profit per spin is .089 units per spin thus far. To make 1 bankroll we are looking at 14,500 spins of play :(
====================
"BUT" just to make sure, let's run it now against the other tables using the same terms (Jan 1 to April 1 2006) and see what happens.

Table #1 (we know from above) is 23,874 spins and ends + 2,144 units.
Table #2 is 20,019 spins and ends - 2,897 units
Table #3 is 4,226 spins and ends + 407 units
Table #4 is 29,660 spins and ends - 4,733 units
Table #5 is 30,007 spins and ends - 2,998 units
Table #6 is 20,515 spins and ends - 3,680 units
Table #7 (not available)
Table #8 is 2,267 spins and ends - 582 units
Bringing our grand total from actuals to 130,568 spins and - 12,239 units
