Wanna be a successful Neopian? Ondazul wrote this list of ten tips to help you grow your Neopoints. Good Luck! :)

1. Games
If you want lots of neopoints you should play games like magax destroyer, korbat's lab, ice cream factory and maths nightmare (might take a while but it's worth it), igloo garage sale, extreme herder, mummy maze, meerca chase, volcano run, turmac roll, snowmuncher... With a bit of practice (and patience!) you can easily get at least 500 neopoints with each of those games - remember you can play three times each game, so you shouldn't send your score right away; instead, try to see what you can do in terms of score and establish that limit, below which you will not send it.
When you finish playing those games you should play stuff like cheat, go! go! go!, pyramids, scarab21 and my personal favourite, sakhmet solitaire. Most of them will get you trophies too, which always looks good ;) It's usually sure neopoints, but not many, and it takes a while to earn them.
These are the games which usually give most neopoints, but it doesn’t mean it happens everytime, especially if you’re not too keen on them. You have to find a few games that you’re good at and then play them as often as you can.

2. Shop
Creating a shop is probably the best way to make money (apart from stocks), but you’ll need a lot of time and patience if you want to go for the big bucks; in the end, it’s well worth it though. These are the basics: you have to buy stuff cheap to sell them at a more expensive but still affordable price (don’t forget to check the shop wizard to see how much the item is worth). To buy things cheap, the best way is to buy from Neopia's official shops and igloo garage sale, but the stuff that gives out the most profit vanishes in a second. Plus, some things aren’t worth buying, but only with time and practice will you realize which ones they are.

3. Bank
Establish a certain amount of money that you must put in the bank every day, and never carry many nps with you or the ghosts will steal them. Withdraw them only when you need the money. Don't forget to collect your interest rate every day and also remember that if you either withdraw or deposit any neopoints before collecting the rate, you won't be able to do it until the next day.
Also, keep all your valuable items in the safety deposit box; only there, trading post and auctions will they be safe from being stolen and turned into piles of sludge.

4. Stocks
If you understand the stock concept, you'll be able to make loads of neopoints... You just have to wait till the stocks are worth around 15np (the minimum amount you can buy them) and then sell them when they're high!

5. Jobs
Also remember to do the maximum amount of jobs everyday at the faerieland employment agency, but it will take some time for you to realize which ones are worth taking and which ones you'll spend more money than earn, like the shop.

6. The daily free stuff
There are a few things you should do every day:
- Food: Go to Tyrannia to get a piece of free omelette (your pet can take 3 bites from it) and Jellyworld for a piece of free jelly (equals 2 bites);
- Miscelaneous prizes: Visit Coltzan's Shrine, play Tombola and
Neopet Fruit Machine, try to find the snowager awake, try to cheer up the
grumpy old king, check out the Money Tree (you have to be very quick to get something though) and keep checking the igloo garage sale for bargains!
Visit the healing springs every half an hour and the water faerie will either bring your pet’s stats up, heal their illness, feed your active pet or give you a potion or snowball.
If you have an extra 400 np play the wheels of Excitement (150np, every two hours), Misfortune (100np, every two hours), Monotony (every 24 hours – 100np) and Mediocrity (50 np, every forty minutes), but getting something good out of that is sheer luck. From my experience, only the Wheel of Excitement is really worth it but who knows!
All these prizes are random.

7. Quests
For me, there are three kinds of quests: uber faerie quests, which is when you are not allowed to use the shop wizard; second group includes witch, esophagor, brain tree, kitchen and snow faerie; third includes Jhudora and Illusen.
The first ones are a great way to increase your pets stats. However, some are not worth it. For instance, I never do the Earth Faerie’s quests because she only feeds and restores your pet’s health points and the healing springs can do that for free. I usually don't do air either, because she increases your pet's speed and that does nothing at the moment in the battledome, Who knows, it may affect the fights in the future. As I said, if a uber faerie comes to you, you can’t use the wiz, so go to the guild and someone will find the item for you asap.
The other two types of quests are timed. You don't have to do the second group, if they are too expensive just let the deadline expire and then see if they ask for something cheaper.
- Esophagor gives you a random item when you get him what he wants. It can either be something really cheap or quite expensive. He has given books and collectable cards to me often.
- To answer brain tree’s questions you have to do two esophagor quests, which is a risk because you don't know if he will ask for something really expensive the second time. If he does, it's usually not worth doing, because brain tree usually gives around 1k np and a cheap item. It may give more valuable stuff and more np, but it is rare.
- Witch quests: lately not worth it. Lately means ever since test your strength was released. She asks for random items and in exchange will give you a spooky food and some np (around 100 to 200np). However, since test your strength came to the deserted fairground, many spooky foods have become a LOT cheaper, so Edna's quests are usually not worth doing because she asks for more expensive stuff than what you are likely to get from her as a prize for completing them.
- Kitchen quests and snow quests are my favourite. Usually, they both ask for very expensive items, which is why I rarely do them. Kitchen can either raise one of your pet's stats, give you an item or np. I usually get 900 something np, so that's why I rarely do them. Snow gives you np (around 2k), an item and a snowball. I don't spend more than 4k in either of these last two quests.
Then you have Judhora’s quests and Illusen’s. These are also timed quests but work a bit differently from the previous: you have to do one every day and if you miss one of these quests, you have to start all over, from 0 points. They always give you the same prize, whereas the previous ones I mentioned are always random. Plus, if you do Judhora or Illusen, they won’t always give you a prize, only from time to time, every 3 quests, if I'm not mistaken. The value of the items they ask for is random, but usually gets more expensive as you get to the higher levels. The problem is when they ask for unbuyables... You have a very limited period of time to find the item (10 minutes or so), so finding someone online that has it will be tough work. And you'd have to be willing to spend that money too!! Usually people do these two because of the trophies and due to the higher quest prizes being so valuable.

8. Lab map
When your pet begins getting stronger and having a high level, it will be very expensive to put it in school to raise its stats, so you might want to consider buying a lab map. It has nine pieces. Some people sell all of them (check the trades) and that might get cheaper.
You can use the labray once per day on one pet, but be warned: it can both give and take stats, as well as change your pet’s gender, colour and even species. It is said that, in the long term, it’s worth it. However, the stronger your pet is, the less chances you have of something good happening to you. It's supposed to be random though.

9. Save!
That's it. Last but not least, if you want your neopoints to grow, do not sucumb to those urges to go on shopping sprees. If you have a goal, save until you can buy that thing. If not, save until tnt releases something you will most certainly want ;)

10. Random Stuff
- Donating to the money tree will increase the possibility of random events!
- Half price day: on the third day of every month, Neopia's official shops lower their prices to half! Make sure you don’t miss it ;)
- Buy scratchcards from the Kiosk and at the deserted fairground and put them in the auctions, it’s another great way of making money. - The snowager is awake between: 6 - 7 am nst; 2 - 3 pm nst; 10 - 11 pm nst. Try and get an item from him, but beware, he may blast you and your pets into oblivion! - To delete an account go to: hwww.neopets.com/remacct.phtml.

And that's it! Hope it has helped. Oh and if you are not a member of
The Uber-Dreaming Cloud, be sure to check it out, you don't know what you're missing ;)
