About Tennis Training Centre (TTC) & the Coach
TTC was born for imparting coaching to youngsters and has been running it's coaching at D G Vaishnav College campus, Arumbakkam, Chennai, for the past decade. There are 7 courts of which 5 are red clay and 2 are ordinary clay courts. Even though the main objective was to give training to advanced level some of whom became top ranking Indian circuit players, it had expanded to give coaching at amateur level as well as developing competitive spirit by conducting tournaments.
Mr. T. Parthasarathy is an ex-service man who served for the country for over 2 decades where he took tennis out of interest. He then utilised the oppurtunity to become a professional coach. He was a services coach at various levels and also a qualified official of AITA tournaments. He is a qualified NIS Tennis coach and served as chief coach of Tamil Nadu Sports Development Corporation at Nungambakkam, Chennai. He took part in the ITF Level 1 workshop. He has more than 3 decades experience of Tennis coaching and was instrumental in bringing the game to the mass. He lives with his wife, daughter and son at Chennai, India.
