*Wavettes celebrate competition success*
 
Sunday 2nd November saw a squad of 30 Wavettes travel to the Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre, Middlesex for their first competitive outing of the season, the Future Cheer Winter Wonderland event.  After 4 weeks of intense practice the team were looking forward to showing off their skills to the crowd, especially since this was the first ever time the Wavettes had entered in the cheer category. 
 
The squad were delighted to finish in third place in the Senior Co-Ed Level 2 category and now look forward to their next competition in February. 
 
All of the Wavettes would like to say a huge thank you to coaches Lindsey Barrass and Vikki Graudins for all their hard work in putting together the routine.

Welcome to the official website for the Brighton Tsunami Wavettes Cheer Squad!

We're the cheerleading squad for the Brighton Tsunami American Football team - the collegiate squad of Brighton and Sussex Universties.

Comprised of both Sussex and Brighton members, we've now been cheering for three seasons, competing for two and are greatly looking forward to the 2007/8 season to build on our current success. Try-Outs for this year's squad have already taken place but anyone who is interested in finding out more about the Wavettes is invited to email the squad at wavettes@hotmail.co.uk.
