Welcome:TSIMHC stands for The Sounds Impressive Model Horse Club (my friend and I were taking the mickey outta the other model horse clubs with very long anagrams :P) and we pride ourselves on not taking model horse showing so seriously, but focus on the more important things like helping you improve and making friends in the same hobby. We hold a range show like fortnightly shows, monthly shows, SMS Shows (lol no not text messaging, it stands for smaller more specific), Performance shows, The Four Season Circuit Shows (we are the only club to have it) and member shows! And after all your hard work at the end of the year we hold the TSIMHC Awards of the Year, where you model can be nominated for model of the year! Besides shows we have chat boards, critique boards, classifieds, quizzes and member profiles, so there is plenty for you to do. If you think our club looks like fun then click on the link below, and in the navigation bar at the top there should be a button says Register, click on that and create a username and password and now you are member. And did I mention we are FREE?Showing Guide:- Breyer and Peter Stone Ring - Only original finish (OF) Breyers and Peter Stones are to compete in this section. Halter Classes
Gender Classes
- Stallion Classes: judged on typical stallion qualities such as a cresty neck and/or a haughty or regal look
- Mare Classes: generally judged on a feminine expression, sweet nature and mare features. Horses displaying male features will be marked down harshly or disqualified
- Gelding Classes: geldings do not have their own gender typical qualities (other than male anatomy), so are generally judged on the accuracy to the breed they are shown under
- Foal Classes: judged mainly on accuracy to breed assigned, but a display of curiosity and energy are considered
Type/Build Classes
*If you are unsure of which class your horse should be entered in, post up a picture of the horse in the Critiques board and we will help you out :)
**Some breeds of horses are eligible to be entered in two rings(such as the Paso Fino), but you must select only one ring for your horse. If your horse is seen to have been entered in more than one ring it will be disqualified. Choose carefully which ring you think your horse will have a higher chance of placing.

Rules:It is advised that everyone read through the rules in order to keep everything free from confusion. All rules must be abided by and if anyone breaks one they will recieve a warning, or in serious cases will be banned or suspended from the club. I don't think this will ever happen though, but please read carefully before showing.1. Model horses must be entered in classes suitable to their breed/colour/markings/gender etc. 2.Photos must not be edited or changed, the only exceptions is cropping and brightness. Writing on the photo is acceptable as long as it is small and doesn't take the attention away from the horse and doesn't cover anything up. 3. No stealing other people's pictures. We get around on other model horse websites and clubs, and we'll know if you have stolen one. 4. The Judges have a right to disqualify your entries if they do not fit the criteria for that class. 5. Judges are not allowed to enter their own models in shows/sections that they judge and can't have a byast opinion. 6. Any models that have been repainted, remoulded, rehaired or customised in any way must be shown in the Customised & Artist Resins Ring only. 7. You are only allowed to enter a maximum of 5 models in the same class. Except in the Breyer and Peter Stone Ring which you are only allowed to enter a maximum of 3 models. 8. No double accounts. 9. No cheating or giving out password and login details to non-members for the photobucket account. 10. When downloading your photos in the photobucket account you must make a description for the photos. For Halter classes, put the stud prefix (eg. Jubilee Stud would be JS) then name of your model. For Breed and Type classes write the prefix and name of the model, the brand of model (eg. Breyer, Schleich), the breed and gender. 11. To run a member show you must have the approval of an administrator. Message an admin (Jubilee or Koolabah) and once you have approval we will make the show on Photobucket for you. When posting the show details in the Member Shows board, you must state the names of the judges for each ring, class numbers and details and when the entries close. 12. No downloading of any other graphics using the photobucket account. 13. When entering peformance classes eg. dressage you must state what the model and rider are doing. For example if you are entering a dressage class, you must write in the description box the model's details, then a description of the action, eg. 'entering at A' or 'halt at X.' 14. Photos loaded to Photobucket must have a maximum of 400 x 400 pixels. You can reduce the size on Photobucket by clicking on edit and reduce size, but it is advised to use a proper picture program as Photobucked may distort your picture and its pixels. |
