Charlotte's testimony - The Best way, The truth!
Hey plp, well where do I start,
I first became a Christian about 3 yrs ago, i was living down in Bedford focussing on my GCSe's, the Lord made me fearful of general media for quite sometime, and i felt extremely lonely. But thankfully i was living near my nan, she had once moved away from the Lord but came back to him yrs later.
Since then she had many stories to tell about her experiences and what the Lord had done for her, and what she saw. She always has many stories to tell about the miracles she saw the Lord do to other people, healing them from sickness, blindness, deafness, rebuking evil spirits, she saw the Lord do alsorts.
it got me thinking why am i here, i was brought into a Christian family but not a practicing one you know a 24/7 Christian. I started going to a lively church in Bedford where i learnt a lot about the Christian faith. It was a friendly, thriving place where you could chill, make friends etc, it was great!
about a yr later the Lord was leading me towards Baptism where you walk into a pool of water and you are dunked for Christ, commiting yourself to him. When you do this you have a new life with him, he has forgiven you! He died for you to show you how much he loves you, he always gives you another chance. He's the only true God. He is always with you watching over you. He will never burden you with anything you can't handle.
Kate's Testimony
Hey! Well I have been brought up in a Christian family so would say I have always been to church, ever since I was 2weeks old. I don't remember really whether I understood or took anything of what was said to me in but I do realise that I must have otherwise I wouldn't be where I am now.
When I was about 14 years old I started realise that my faith had a great impact on my life. It has created me to be as I am now. Things started to change, especially my personality and feelings about situations. I look back and see that God was moving drastically in my life. I grew in faith and after about 8months I felt God saying it is time to tell everyone about my faith through baptism.
On the 22nd September 2002 I was baptised to show everyone that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Saviour. It was amazing, like getting married, like a huge party was going on!
Ever since I have grown in faith, God has moved so much in my life. I have passed my GCSE's, now doing A-levels, I can almost drive!!!!! I am off to Bulgaria in August 2005 to work in a disabled orphanage and I can't wait!
