GOD'S GIFTS'
My Eyes will Never See
Again except from Memory
The
Sunrise in the Early Morn
A Baby's face when
newly born
The seagulls Soaring above
the sand
The White Caps Racing towards the land
The Magestic Mountains Rising High
Their Snow Capped Peaks Reaching toward the Sky
The Teardrops of Dew on the Mossy
Grass
Like the Sparkle of a Crystal Glass
The
Shades of Green on the Trees of Spring
And the
Array of Colors the Autumn leaves bring
The Shimmering
Diamonds of the new fallen Snow
Create a
Blanket of White on the Earth here below
Like
the Opal Colors in a Sunset Sky
Reminding us
Evening in drawing nigh
The Faces of Family so dear to
Me
I fear no longer will I See
But
God has been good and I realize
Because I have
seen these I can Visualize
And when I feel blue and very
sad
I recall the many blessings I have
had
And
though my Vision is faded and gone
I Visualize
these Wonders and still See the Dawn
Feel
no sadness nor sorrow for Me
save Compassion
for Sighted People
who never Pause to Look or to See
...
