I hadn't gotten a chance to put up this comic here on Sunday or yesterday because still thinking about it makes me sad. There really was no other choice of what I had to put up after the untimely death of such a legendary pitchman.
Billy Mays was always one of those 'celebrities' that I wanted to meet. He seemed like an exceptionally nice guy and of course a great pitchman. Like him or not, he was affective in what he did. Even if you hated his infomercials, they did capture your attention with his exuberant
'HI BILLY MAYS HERE!!!!' greeting.
His energy was legendary and there will never be an equal to him.
His death took many of us by surprise and I know more than a few people who were more saddened by Billy Mays' passing than Michael Jackson's.
I have heard some people say that they should make June 28th International Cap Lock Day, but I am in the boat of making in July 20th, Mr. Mays' birthday.
We will miss him greatly. His enthusiasm, his energy, his voice.
But of course, with his death did come jokes and just basically funny thing said that made many of us laugh while we were sad. I do think that Billy Mays would have wanted us to remember his awesomeness and laugh. The web comic
Ctrl+Alt+Del did a sort of memorial comic in honor of him:

While I know it is a little late, I do hope we can all pause for a moment of SHOUTING in remembering one of the greatest of pitchmen
