A TRUE STORY

True Stories of Miracles Experienced by Ordinary People

GOD'S COMPASSION

This is a story of compassion from God for a loving Mother  who had just lost her oldest child.

My Mom who loved all her children dearly was faced with a problem of losing her oldest son because the wiles of the old devil,  he had the addition of alcohol, she always was asking everyone she knew to pray for her son,  she never knew why the Lord had called her other two sons into the ministry but nothing seemed to help her oldest.

Gilbert kept getting weaker, after his family had left him it fell upon my Mom and myself to take care of him, we did all we knew to do, taking care of household stuff, talking,  praying and it all seemed to no avail, he would go to church and sit in the back seat,  tears would stream down his face but other than that, we saw no outward sign of him giving his life over to the Lord.

Then on the morning of my brother’s  death, around 5:00am, My aunt Beulah, who loves the Lord with all her heart and is a great intercessor was lying in bed beside her husband, my Mom’s brother, woke him up out of a deep sleep  and said to him, “Warren we need to pray for Gilbert”  even though she hadn’t seen Gilbert for a long time nor had she any idea how bad he was, with-in her spirit she knew that he was leaving this world and she also knew that he was going to a better place, God gave her the assurance that Gilbert had made things right and that is what she relayed to all of us who mourned for him, without that I think my Mom would have lost her mind.

The medical examiner estimated Gilbert’s death to be around 5:00am, the same time as my aunt’s revelation from God.

I believe it is a miracle that God loves us so much He will commutate with us here on this earth and give us a peace that surpasses all understanding,  even though we didn’t see the healing that  we wanted for my brother, we did get the assurance that we will meet him again over on Heaven’s Shore.

Since that time my Mom and my Dad have joined Gilbert and all are now waiting for us to join them.

Praise the Lord! Won’t that be a Hallelujah meeting.

Faith is to believe what we do not see,
and the reward of this faith is to see what we believe.
