An Unorthodox Heart

My name is Cassandra, many of my friends call me by the nick name Cassie. Welcome to my website ‘An Unorthodox Heart’!

At the age of 15 I was inspired to put this site together which was previously called by the name of ’True Love Waits’. I watched and listened as many of my friends gave everything away in exchange for heart break, unplanned pregnancy, and diseases. So, I wanted to share what God had spoken to my heart about purity with as many people as I could possibly reach! Which lead to the construction of this website. How better could I get the word out than through the internet and friends?

So why CHANGE?

I would like to continue to share with you the revelations that God continues to speak to me today.

I believe that once God gives you a revelation and a purpose it is your responsibility to do what you can to fulfill that calling, and He will continue to guide your steps as you consistently seek Him.

From the moment that I made the choice to live a life different than that of my school friends and peers, I dealt with much controversy amongst my extended family and friends. Though my choice hasn’t been popular, easy, or commonly understood, my parents and close friends have continued to stand by me through every step.

It has been a couple of years since I have been able to be very involved with this website due to lack of internet access. Over these past couple of years though, I have graduated high school, attended a one year internship at the Honor Academy, and married my wonderful husband Robert! My life is proof that waiting is worth every moment!

I have not set up this site in efforts to convince or guilt people of how they should or shouldn’t live their lives. That choice is between them and the living God. However , my goal is to share my heart to inspire and encourage anyone that possibly I can. It is each individual’s responsibility to know and identify what their personal convictions and beliefs are, and those are going to be the guidelines which run their lives. My personal convictions and beliefs are based on revelation of the bible, and the firm belief that God’s word is life and truth.

As I continue to update this site, I want to keep dealing with the issues of purity head on, but also touch on the other struggles of life, because there are many symptoms that can lead to the same ailment… and in today’s world the most popular and noninvasive antidotes for our problems are sex, drugs, and alcohol.
