True Love Waits

  When I was 11 years old I made a decision to not kiss till my wedding day. Your probably thinking no way, she's crazy, she will never be able to pull that off. Well I am glad to say your wrong about that one. I know that God will give me the strength to go through High School and go through my years of singleness and not be sucked into the patterns of this world. (Rom. 12:2) Yes, I will be tempted and yes it will be very hard, but I know it will all be worth it in the end. I will be able to give this gift to my husband, of not kissing any other man, but him. And to let him know that he is the only man in my life, and that I have been waiting for him forever.

And for you girls that have kissed a guy before. It's ok, start today! Be able to say to your husband some day that you have given someone your first kiss but then God changed your heart and say "from now on, I am going to save my kisses for my husband!" It may sound silly but, you will be surprised how thankful your future husband will be when you say "I've been waiting for you!"
