True Love Waits

Following God is not always easy, but when He called me to do something that I’m passionate about, it does make it more fun! Three years ago during lunch with my dad one after noon, God gave me a vision that would impact people around the world. I began writing ideas on my place mat that would later develop into a dream come true for some teenage girls.

I had the desire to encourage girls my age and older to listen to God when He calls us to save our love for a man that He prepared for us.

I was 13 years old when I started my own True Love Waits website. Girls from all over the globe would visit my site and tell me their stories of what God is doing in their lives. At first my impression was to be the one encouraging these girls, but as time went on I began hearing about others just like me who have the same calling on their hearts and I was inspired to continue my journey as God wanted me too.

When I first created this site, I was very convinced that everyone shouldn't date in high school and they should save their first kiss for the altar. But, God was quick to make me realize that this was not true. I began to understand how God could use a a godly relationship to bring glory to his kingdom just as He could with a couple that waits. With this new view, I wanted to share this with the girls that visit my site to show them what patient love could look like.

I will continue doing what I'm doing as long as God wants me to and my hope is that someday I will be able to write a book about my journey through my single years, my years of finding my future mate and how God brought us together.
